What's new

Intamin [UC]

^ I have a little lateral spike of 0.7g on the "NL default" seat in the middle of the turn. But I don't really care for it since I tweak my banking's so that the middle seats get the lowest lateral forces, just like in real life.

Hmm. Quite a shallow drop then. I wonder what you have in store!

That hill looks immense. Looks to be too tight, yet it works, Loefet, if only we knew your secrets!

^ This one is a bit steeper though...

84°, going down!!

I just cummed in my pants.

It's looking real nice, I like the way you aren't giving any of the layout away. You may have already said this, but are you doing 3ds on this ride?

^ I would be lying if I said no.

About the layout, there are sections missing from the pictures I show you :)

What? No majestic jump out to sea after that drop?

Disappointed...

It looks really good, from what you show us. And I hope for 3D islands or something, as the entire thing is over water at the moment.

^ No it would have been cool to have one :)
But I'm not referring to the part after the pull-up, but that par that is running between the different track pieces.

That section have also been slightly altered to fit the rest of the coaster a bit better, and I have also changed to "reverse" the order of the coaster, so that the steep drop is also the first.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma now, I can't work out a good way to connect the ends together...

If anyone have any ideas?
The thing is that I want around 180° turnaround in there somewhere, but can't really fit it in anywhere (note that most of the stuff are close to the ground so it can't cross over anything).

EDIT: I have edited the picture, the sections with lines to either side are close to the ground.

270 degrees immediate left, and a series of hills on the return, before brakes?

And how on Earth (or your computer) did you get that effect?

^ I have thought about that, but I would rater have it on the "right" side of the rest of the layout.

About the effect, I just made the picture black and white.

That looks so good.

But id you don't mind me asking, how do you run the cars without a connected track? Whenever I try it complains until I connect it..

^ Just place the coaster in shuttle mode, be sure that you only have one train (note that some stuff don't work exactly the same when in shuttle mode).

EDIT: YAY, I have finally figured out how to connect them in a cool way.

I have hit a snag in my plan, there isn't a good way for the final connection to fit together, but a more pressing matter is that I have a severe stacking issue, so I have to redo most of the coaster. But I will try and reuse most parts of the ride.

I have finally started to work on this project again, and have done a big redesign of the whole thing, it's still pretty similar to the layout I have posted, but now it works as it should.

Update later...

^^ I will just finish the segment of the track I'm working on at the moment, so a few hours...

OK, so this part of the track have already been done for some time now:

But this part is what I have worked on today, I have decided to do some more tweaking to it, so it fit's better with the rest, but the only difference will be the number of degrees the helix will be:

A good thing with this new layout is that I'm now able to ditch a lot of trim sections I had before.
