New update, I have tweaked both hill and helix so that they flow together much better and I have also reduced the forces on the helix to a much more sustainable 4 :)

Just have to add the piece up to a MCBR and the first section is done!!

^ I was wondering if someone would complain about them.
I use them to mark where the nodes are, so I can pause the train (when the seat I'm "riding" in are on top of them) and write down the lateral forces at the nodes, so I then know how much and in what direction I should compensate the banking of the nodes in the editor to minimize lats. The bi-rail makes it easier to see the nodes. In essence LHG :)

So that sections is noway near the finished product in terms of supports and rail type.
 
No wonder you're coasters are so amazing, with all the mathematical stuff you put in Loefet!

I just play it by ear and hope it's good!

yeah, whats up with the water thing? Are you just making water for better visibility or something? Or is it going to stay like that when its released?
 
^ ^^ There is a specific reason why I have water underneath, that will be clear later on.

I have hit a major snag today, and have decided to scrap the last section I did, + most of the one before that as well. I have decided to make a big alteration in the final layout due to this. But it will work out better in the end.
 
Xpress uses lots of math to build tracks by hand. Gotta get the radii of the elements perfect for fun.

loefet, don't you ever eyeball any of your elements?
 
I have made a complete redesign of the layout, since the old one I had planned on doing, didn't fit the space constraints that I wanted to have, so I made a new one and it's a complete success.

It looks great. Is the rest of the layout that twisty, or is more hilly afterwards?

I think loefet will reveal all in little snippets, so we get annoyed and keep looking at the thread to check for updates. Looks great loefet!
 
^^ I haven't decided if I will use that as my first drop or not, depend on how I would like to change my layout really, but it probably will be. But there is a reason why its "just" 60°, there will however be steeper ones though...

That trackwork looks stunning. How have you managed to make that element work without the Gs going through the roof?
