Incredible Hulk - new credit or no credit?

Two big apples sitting next to each other are definitely two things ; unless we are starting to get into heavy multi-dimensional physics...

...but if you can't tell the difference between DVD and Blu-ray its just not worth arguing with you ; philistine.

On a standard definition TV of course :p

I was in Tesco earlier. They had 12 copies of Force Awakens on the shelf. 12 things, 1 film.

Mouse: if the beasts where transplanted to another person, are they the same breasts? These are important questions...

Well I don't think *anyone* is really trying to argue that if we ride the Hulk 12 times then thats 12 different credits

You're certainly right on that front at least Dave :D

Essentially, this argument falls under this paradox.

Anyway, I do believe this is all down to personal beliefs regarding what you want to count as a cred. It is slightly iffy with it being an exact replica of a ride that was formerly in the exact location under the exact name. But then, technically it is physically a new ride?

Absolutely, it's just a relocation.

Relocation: Same boobs.
Enhancement: Same boobs.
Replacement: New boobs.

I've forgotten what this original topic was about.

It doesn't matter - just get permission before riding the boobs.

I don't really see the debate here. If the entirety of the track is different, it's a new cred.

It's basically no different to counting clones. It just so happens that in this case, they are replacing Hulk with a clone of itself.

Not true. I have seen several films. Space film, Cowboy film, scary film, snogging film and a few others :)

Furie - are you the same physical being you were as a child, given all your cells have been completely replaced since?

Was it Star Wars Episode 2: attack of the clones?

You are officially now telling Dad jokes - welcome to the end of your life as somebody cool and interesting :p

Physically, no - but Im not sure what the point is? If my brain was transplanted into another body would I be the same person? How many Captain Kirks are there (in the fictional universe) if every time he is teleported his old body is physically destroyed and a new body created from him? Is there one, or is he one of thousands?

All interesting metaphysical and theological discussions, but none are really relevant here :p

In reality, I'm firmly of the belief that everyone should do whatever they feel is right. Whatever way of counting coasters you may personally have is yours. It's your count, nobody elses. It's just that there's a degree of namby-pamby going on with people. This may count, this may not and what do you think about possibly this one? Have a system and stick to it.

In fact, the person I most respect on this is actually Ben. He has his idea and it's pretty much "if it smells like a coaster and looks like a coaster, it's a coaster - everything counts!!!" He's resolute in his coaster counting and his method and never questions or wavers. 100% convicted in his process. I may be the "anti-Ben" in terms of coaster counting, but at least we can respect each others set of moral values in sticking to our guns on this.

See, there are just too many inconsistencies with people (and I don't think Ben actually takes it far enough). Retrack Stampida and give it new trains that completely changes the ride experience - not a new cred. Put down new track on an identical coaster layout in the same spot and the experience isn't changed - new cred. 80% of the ride replaced on Scenic in the same layout but no experience change - new cred. Alteration to the track layout that physically must alter the experience even slightly like Big Dipper - not a new cred.

Count every bloody thing or nothing. Stop treading water in the wishy-washy pool of indecision. Step up and be counted. Shout from the highest lift hill "I AM A GOON TO THE N[super]TH[/super] DEGREE!" Be proud of being decisive and having a set of rules you can stick to. Declare Squirrel Nutty a powered coaster, or sack off rides like Seuss as never in your count! Do it, dare to be brave and support your count. Go-on or go-home!

Spoken like a true Dire Straights/Phil Collins middle of the road kind of man :p
