Some may say it's lazy (which is probs is)

Or it's most likely simply the fact that developing the tooling required for a different mold costs a hell of a lot of money.

Not to mention the actual designing process (in man hours and therefore actual cost).

Couldn't it be that they actually like the design?

^ Yeah. It could well be. We wasn't saying that it WAS our reasons, merely giving several reasons why.

Heide Park has released a cool video showing the coaster testing from several angles!

And I'm not even disappointed with the speed. What's up with that.

Looks like great fun - the pacing just looks like any other wing rider (I'm not saying if that's good or bad, I don't care). I like it.

Wow, it's really hauling ass through that first airtime hump! It'll probably provide som nice negative g's :--D I'm a bit dissapointed that the train travels so slow through the apex of the inversions though, considering the shorter train length. But it might change with more testing and fully loaded trains :)

Six cars per train look weird but really cool at the same time. Looks like it'll provide some nice hangtime in each inversion.

Hopefully it will speed up a lot will full trains, in summer heat. There is great potential for this ride, especially for that first hill!

I think its going to be really fantastic!
Remember that the trains are only half full at the moment when they are testing in this video, and of course test runs are going to be slightly slower.
I would expect the speed to pick up definitely, but not by that much really. Either way I am very excited for this, especially all the near misses!

The first hill/headchopper looks like it will pack a punch, it looks a little slow in places but yeah, full trains will address that slightly. Even with half full trains it looks like the pretzel will give some good G's.
Looking forward to May.

If anybody expected this to speed through it's inversions they're a bit dense. If you take into account all of the other wingrider's out there, none of them are rapid through their inversions so why would this be any different?

^ I think it's hope, combined with smaller trains. I personally like Swarm the way it is, slightly faster would be great. This looks to be a better layout with an excellent headchopper. That's what i'm expecting, a enjoyable ride that offers a slightly different ride experience, rather than a speed filled wingrider.

Regardless of the fact that wing riders don't go through the inversions themselves rapidly, you can still experience nice forces. I personally am a big fan of the wing riders and it seems alot of enthusiasts really don't care for them that much. I don't totally understand why, because I think they are really fun and smooth (at least the 2 I have been on) and offer plenty of forces.
Even when this is running at 'full speed' with fully loaded trains at the end of summer night, its still not gonna go through the inversions rapidly, but I feel like it'll be a perfectly good speed nonetheless!
I'm making a plan to go visit this next year because it and many other coasters in Germany and the surrounding area totally look worth the trip!

Is it just me... Or does the video Heide Park posted...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSEre3m4Le0

Use the same music at the end that Fluch Von Novgorod used right at the start of the ride?

(Fluch POV) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Nmchose4BM

You mean the fan-site video right?

Yeah, same music, but that's not the official Heide video...
It's the same music as the official Heide video. The fan site just edited out the ride manager talking about the TÜV inspections that are currently going on before the safety inspectors turn the ride over to the park for their own testing.

Another video has been released:

Oh dang, the queue looks brilliant!

If I remember correctly I really liked the queue for Krake as well, but thinking the themed section was a big short, and the outside section a bit to long.
