Gigs 'n' Tours

The Black Crusade looks imense!

I'm well gutted because that, the Get Happy Tour, and Taste of Chaos are all happening in Oxtober, and I'll be at Uni in Nottingham, and NONE are going to Rock City!

I'm actually scared it's going to close down, because as soon as I go all the decent bands stop going!

I went to Warped Tour in Englishtown, NJ yesterday. It was pretty good aside from the heat and outrageous prices.

I saw:
Envy on the Coast
As I Lay Dying
UnderOath
Coheed and Cambria
Monty are I
Alkaline Trio
New Found Glory
Paramore
The Starting Line
Circa Survive
Bayside

Tops would be Bayside and New Found Glory. They were all pretty good though.

My upcoming shows:

8/21- Alesana, As Cities Burn, Mayday Parade & Four Year Strong at School of Rock
10/26- The Academy Is.., Armor for Sleep, The Rocket Summer, Sherwood
11/10- MCS, Anberlin, Mae, Metro Station at Starland Ballroom
12/1- Brand New, Thrice, MeWithoutYou at House of Blues (Atlantic City)
12/8- Bayside at The Stone Pony

Awesome.

Went to Tool at Brixton yesterday. Wow. Amazing, wish I had the money to have gone again tonight.

Killswitch on October 3rd at Brixton again.

Either Black Crusade or Dream Theater to end my year, as I can't afford both.

I wanted to go to that so much, but by the time I had the money and all together it had sold out. Oh well, hopefully next time (in 5 years knowing them).

Do both, you know it makes sense, money is no matter when it comes to gigs! :p

Yup, I'm hypocritical sometimes

Nine Inch Nails - Last night - utterly fantastic show!

One of my favourite bands ever, and they really do an excellent gig. Fantastic, especially as I didn't know I was going :)

Trent Reznor just looks like an accountant though :D

Just bagged me 4 standing tickets to Foo Fighters in Cardiff. Should be a good laugh... well, I hope it is after the hell I went through trying to get the damn things.

^ Can't be as bad as me..I tried seetickets and ticketmaster at the same time [with brother] and it said sold out for london straight away..so I rushed up to the box office and managed to get 4. Also shat myself carrying £130 round London. Was nice seeing Angel on the train though.

An accountant in big boots!

Just heard that Led Zepplin were going to reform for a special show at the o2! (on NME.com)

If this is true, I'm going to be broke forever trying to get a ticket.

I've just come back from get Happy Tour! Bowling For Soup, Bloodhound Gang, Zebrahead and Army of Freshman has to be one of the best line-ups for a gig ever!

I just got tickets for Sum 41 too, how old school's that!

I also want to go to the Kerrang tour in January, with Coheed and Cambria, Madina Lake and Fightstar. I only want to see Fightstar, but C&C are alright.

But next on the list, Sum 41!

Well....

26th October: Frank Skinner (Not really a gig but meh)
1st November: Enter Shikari
30th November: Klaxons
29th January: Plain White T's

Went to see Sanctity/Evile/Romeo Must Die in Cardiff on monday... was absolutely blown away, especially by Evile. If you're into thrash, look into them, I have a feeling they may get pretty big, and I hope they do. Sanctity were good too and I got their drumstick at the end, and got to sing on stage with them. :D

I went to the Brixton show of this! was damn awesome, especially BHG. Shame they'll have trouble booking another UK tour though, as they encouraged the crowd to smoke (and succeeded, not that the crowd needed encouragement anyway).

Saturday/Brixton tickets for the Black Crusade came back on sale recently (ticketweb), so looks like I'll make it to that after all.
