ooOh I like <3 They mange to get a lot into the small amount of space. How much does this thing cost and do you think Gerstlauer will sell this model to other small parks? Seems like a great way for small parks to get some inversions.
I think my engineering classes have ruined me, I am just sitting here looking at that last picture and thinking about all of the different design decisions that had to go into making just that one little support. That is crazy!
The park probably wanted a 100 ft tall ride on limited budget and space. Hence the short track length and the random ending to the ride. They were just looking for the best bang for their buck - after all nothing attracts people to the pier better than seeing a giant roller coaster looming over the water
