^^I can't spell? :?

^We are talking about the same highly banked section right, as in at the top?

Yes, we are. If you look at the other images on the previous page, it's taken in a kind of, raise up, tilt left, drop down to the left on the curve. Not, Curve up right then drop down and level out. Basically the other banking on the entrance is very shallow, the exit banking is higher :)

^How is the top of the turnaround not the entry to it? :?

Re: Fun Spot Orlando | White Lightning | GCI Wood

It goes up the double up, down the double down, up into the high banked corner and pulls out low.

It's really quite clear from this picture:

Brookes; with you saying, "It's pretty highly banked at the entry as well." - That insinuates that you wasn't talking about the Ariel Dive, hence my comment. That's it. Done...

I'm just going crazy. Pardon me being a little mentally deficient.

I'm sorry but when I hear the name 'White Lightning' all I can picture are tramps chugging back a 3ltr bottle of cider...

As for the coaster, looks awesome. Love the double ups/downs, a nice modern take on the classic out-and-back coaster.

Um, how are either of those world records?

Now, the question is... "Is CF busted and posting things in random places, or is rollermonkey?" ;)

Did you watch the video?

They are claiming first drop angle (58) and banking angle (90) as world records.

Yes I did... Without sound

I did read everything (here) to see if anyone had mentioned anything about world records

Got tbh until they actually start to build this I won't believe it's happening.

How can they be claiming the 90° banks if GG already did them on two of their wooden coasters....

Maybe they ment to put 'worlds first', as they've named each element, as if they're going to use them regularly maybe?

White Lightning Stats:
Length= 2000ft
Height= 75ft
Max Speed= 48mph
Max drop= 58degress (world record coined “Claire Curve”)
Max bank angle= 90degrees (world record coined “Ariel Dive”)
Air time moments= apprx 18
Ride length= apprx 1:15min

GG kind of did the second one of RVII.

I just think GCI made a huge typo there.

I'm really hoping this will be a GCI with some proper airtime.

That's not a bump, that is posting exciting stuff! - Thanks you!

I think it looks perfect, just what i thought it would be.
Though, i do think that the track between the bottom of the first drop and the start of the double airtime hill looks a bit dead, and could use an airtime hill or something!

And what an amazing job GCII did making this 'GCI-like' even though it's an out-and-back layout!
- Great looking family coaster!

Where's the station fly-through? I can't see one therefore it must be crap.

It looks cute. Ideal family woodie, the double drop thingy at 0:56 (in the video) will probably create the biggest thrill. Fun and unpretentious, unlike one of their recent big creations.

EDIT: Offride rendering.

I like it.. out-and-back isn't GCI's style but this looks like a lot of fun.

It looks great, but a little un-GCIish. Wooden rails, steel track? Regular out and back? airtime? It looks awesome but a break from their usual style.
