What's new

Formula 1 2009

You choose the 3rd driver from race to race. Hence why DC was for a couple, but isn't anymore. And Michael is one of at least 4 reserve Ferrari drivers.

This is really really bad. Pictures show huge damage to above and around his left eye. Extensive emergency surgery is being undertaken as we speak.

Only 3 drivers when interviewed after quali wished Massa well, Kimi, Lewis and Kovy.

All that Alonso, Webber and Vettel cared about was their sessions.

I'll say what I said earlier. The former 3 weren't asked on the television, so they weren't seen saying anything.

Personally I blame James Allen, who obviously didn't give a damn and asked no questions of it.

They were specifically asked about the incident. No-one would actively go out of their way to find a reporter and tell them something to be fair.

Hope he will be ok. His situation was life threatwning but stable, so he should be ok. Won't be back until next year at the earliest though, a skull op isn't exactly a small one, take time to recover, even with a Kubica style recovery.

Ugh. No Alonso makes me sad.

Not quite as sad as that absolutely disgusting creature winning.

Grrr...

*still hates Hamilton*

Great win by Lewis today he had to race hard for it and pass someone.

Kimi done well, but come on yet another driver he has knocked out a race and no penalty.

Button has had it in that car.

I seriously can't believe Michael Schumacher will be racing in the next F1 race. I can't wait to watch it.

BMW are pulling out after this season. The main reason is the direction the sports heading plus the fact they have only taken a tiny points haul this time out. So we won't have a feild of 26 cars only 24 cars.

Yay! The Schu is back (well, for a few races). This season has been really boring, and this has persuaded me not to switch off.

*is excite*

Bad move by ms, what good will it him what can he prove? If he is slower than kimi it's going to look bad on him. But at least now new drivers can can say they raced against him lol.

Brilliant I can't wait to see him back, hopefully he will add a bit more excitment to the season which has recently got very boring. It will also be nice to see how he does up against the likes of Hamilton and Vettel.

I'm quite looking forward to seeing Schumacher back. I wasn't convinced at first, but i've warmed to the idea. I don't think he's out to prove anything, he's just doing it as a favour to Ferrari, seeing as he's still involved with them. The only other options would've been Marc Gene, who was never really on the pace in an F1 car, and Luca Badoer, who's not raced competitively, just tested, since 1999.
