Everything went as planned on my LA trip & Matterhorn Bobsleds was not only my first coaster of 2009, but also my 200th coaster overall. :--D

My first coaster of this season was Diamondback at Kings Island. I was very impressed with it. I'm definitely a big fan of the cars.

The park was so crowded that I didn't get much else in after that, but it was well worth it.

I got my first new coaster this last weekend... Carolina Cobra was 202! I guess it's not entirely new, but I'll put it in there again.. the new trains make a world of difference from Geauga.

Damn, seems I've not posted in this thread yet.

My first theme park trip this year was Alton Towers opening day. As I'm a big fan of Rita, it's open for ERT at the moment and I know how big the queues get later in the day, I always start the day at Alton with Rita Queen of Speed. So Rita it was.
