I like the name in theory, but, I can't help but see it attached to a Wooden Coaster and be like, urgh.

Suppose that isn't a problem in Germany though, so, this is just a pointless complaint really.

I like the name Odin more >_< Or like, Odin's Fury or something <3

I agree with the 'Timbur Coaster' subtitle. It can **** off. Wodan on it's own I can live with but meh, it looks pretty good.

If erl can do a pokemon, I can do a megaten demon. cuz megaten is better and it predates pokemon

They should have just stuck with Mythos. That was a pretty cool name and I really liked it but Wodan just sounds a bit weird.

It does have an unfortunate similarity to Wooden, I guess that it might well get called the wooden coaster by English-speaking tourists.

Does anyone actually use or say the sub-titles in coaster names? I think it's just there in that case to help people identify it in the park and to mark it out as different.

I'd hope most English speaking people know who Wodan is, we've got a day named after him after all (I remember that lesson from when I was five or something, but Thor always was my favourite of Gods, so I took notice for a change ;) ).

I do wonder if it's a pun, but I suspect not :lol: Also, how apt that the name is released so close to Christmas too? [/Nordic/Germanic mythology <3]

That's an impressive drop. Surprised there's been no mention of the Airplane Coaster in comparison.

The drop looks great but why are so many people acting like it's all amazing and brand new? It's the same as Terminator's! Which is awesome but, come on...

Does it matter if its the same drop as Terminator's? It still looks pretty awsome, regardless.

I'm liking GCI's new artistic style photos (like the middle one you posted). They look really nice professional. So much better than most construction photos we see! :p

I think it might be because this is a lot closer/easier/cheaper to get to for a lot of us here, and therefore we can see ourselves riding it more realistically? I don't know about everyone else, but I get more excited about rides I see myself riding in the near future.

According to GCI's facebook page, these were taken by Europa themselves...and so far, all the 'artistic' ones have come directly from Europa.
