What's new

English Football 2008/2009 Season

Just in case anyone hasn't saw last nights game or highlights, Setanta have stopped being greedy ****s and have struck a deal with ITV to show the highlights... in errr... 15 minutes!

^ God, how much it cost ya? Must be feck loads.

I too am a season ticket holder, just not for a premier league club, lol.

Thats a joke that.

£390 a season for Boro if you buy early (like before 9th june or something), then £410 after.
Then again, you see a different kind of quality at Arsenal, I just don't think I could justify paying that much for a season ticket.
Under 18's at Boro season tickets for £95! It sucks to be 18+ sometimes

£950! That's insane, but as long as you enjoy the football, it's worth it.

That's the opposite end of insane, lol.

My season ticket for Southampton behind a goal was £340.

Shame it's not value for money

I'd actually blow my student loan on a season ticket if it was easy to actually get to the stadium. I think I'll just settle for a few games here and there instead.

Liverpool will easily be within the top 5, I guarantee it. :D
Also I want them to win as I do support them, ha!

Would like to see Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal get relegated

I don't know if you know that only 3 teams from the premier league get relegated in a season.

Anyway I don't know whether to go to Thorpe this weekend (Colchester away) or next weekend (Peterborough at home) I suppsoe there's always Sunday, but I'm less likely to go on a Sunday than a Saturday.

Since Morcambe last game of season last year. They sold out all that they could before it was deemed unsafe untill the stadium is complete.

I thought you knew that, Martyn?

Well that's news to me. I'll ask on other boards to check that.

Score predictions Ciall? Or is that against your ritual

I don't know what to expect, league form is odd. LWWLWLW, but I will stick my neck out and go 2 - 1 Dons.

I actually watched that game.... I think it was on sky sports ?
Anyway, its one of the only times I have seen MK Dons play and they played quite well. All I remember is MK scored a late penalty :)

They're doing better than my team (spurs) so at least I had some good football to watch.
