I'm pretty sure they could make a Raventurn-esque inversion with a Wing-Rider without spinning seats, just do the half twist on the way up so that it takes the top fully inverted and then just do a half loop. A very similar concept as the Togo twist and dive inversion...

It's a wing rider, 100%

There's a picture of the top of the lift segment at the B&M plant. It has the same catwalk supports underneath the rails that raptor does.

There are four clues released by Dollywood on the Dollywood2012 site now.

The rails are clearly on top of the track, and the newest clue released today, shows super wide catwalks, which are notable to dive machines and wing riders, since we already have two dive machines in the US, that rules that out since it's a "First in the US (or North America)"

So we are clearly looking at a wing rider with either the worlds largest loop, or the worlds largest immelmann.

I would post the clues, and pictures, but I can't because I'm new.

Dive loop into the canyon, and yeah, it is pretty much set that this is wingrider. Love that blue.

^^That's what I'm on about. In the real pic and in the number 2,3 & 4 renderings the rails look like they're on top of the track. But in the number 1 rendering (the only one I've seen before) it looks like the rails are under the track. It is probably just a bad rendering or maybe an odd angel though. The chance of it being a raven turn (ie 4D) is minimal..

Nah... it has to be... *scratches head*... some kind of... anti-areodynamic train themeing mounted on the side of the trains! Yes, that's it! No matter what the park says, I still believe that this is a regular sit-down coaster. ;)

(can I have my punch now? You can leave the donkeys out)

Unless those seats are rotating, then it's a 4D, not a wing rider.

I love the amount of Wing riders!
In just 2 years, we've had Raptor, Swarm, X-Flight and now this.
they seem to be quite popular! Im really liking them too!
Cant wait for this just a couple more days to wait yay!
