Track has been on site for ages now, and pics were posted on page 1, when the thread was first started...

What is your problem? - It's not the same pictures and there is more track on site now anyways.

They didn't quite get all the change out of rider's pockets at Thorpe, something they wish to correct for the park in China?

Re: Cinecitta World, Italy | Unknown | Intamin 10 inversions

Colossus has 4 in a row! :S

Re: Cinecitta World, Italy | Unknown | Intamin 10 inversions

This ride IS basically Colossus, with a different drop, we all know that right?

I wonder why they chose tri-rail thoughout the entire layout this time?

Re: Cinecitta World, Italy | Unknown | Intamin 10 inversions

Maybe to create a smoother ride?

Re: Cinecitta World, Italy | Unknown | Intamin 10 inversions

^ And less supports needed!

Not just the drop - if you look closely you'll see that they've done a overhaul on other sections of the track too and reshaped all the elements slightly. Makes sense given they've sold a good few recently as the last one they sold post-colossus, had some weird supporting that was 'Thorpe Park specific' and all sat very high off the ground because of the canyons etc they dug at thorpe to put some of the first inversions in

Here you'll notice its not the case - eg the last barrel roll ends at ground level, and the base of all inversions sit at the same ground level. Also following the last barrell roll, it looks to immediately turn into a banked corner, vs. Collosus' more extended turnaround before hitting the last barrel roll

The tri rail makes the rolls look so much better, something about it is very aesthetically pleasing.

Plus the color scheme is beautiful.

Shame we can't have Colossus looking as clean as this. I know it's 11 years older but a repaint this colour would be so yummy.

I'm aware of that, I was just generalising. For all intents and purposes, the layout is exactly the same, with minor tweaks, the most major of which is the drop, hence why it got a mention.
