The main part of the practise is what they eat, no food with animal in it. It's also about the animal feeling no pain when it dies, slitting the neck stopped the blood flow to the brain and heart etc.

Yes it was just to slit the throat as stunning years ago was not as good as it is now. The practise changed years ago, kosher and halal comes from the same farms.

Well that's how it's seen from the kosher side anyway.

Eggs in the past could only be ones where the chickens were in pens, but again that's changed. They just need to be from farms where the eggs cannot be fertilised. Always wondered why the press did not kick off about that as well.

Sorry to dig this back up;

This is also an issue of a manipulative media and not presenting facts. Every story has featured the following phrase:

"A white police officer shot an unarmed, black teen (or youth)." Followed by this picture:

When a more recent photo is this:

These are the first two images that show up when you type in "Michael Brown media photo." Tell me what's wrong with this?

That second picture isn't actually Michael Brown, for a start.

So going back to my original post. Racism against black people is not so much an issue in this country. It's the growing problems of racism against muslims. And there's facts to back up that people have not took kindly to harsh and threatening behaviour of the radicals and have in fact started being less tolerant towards muslims in general. Again I'm not saying I'm one of those people but I just wanted to back up my original post.

As someone said on tv, if only people showed this amount of passion when 25 people get shot in a school.

I wish there was ways of stopping the incidents like that marc.

To quote Alfred though - "Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."

I think this applies and unfortunately people like me and you will never fully understand what's going through their minds

^Of all of the douchy things you have said in this thread, quoting a Batman movie might be the tops on your list.

The gunman who commit mass shooting, speaking strictly on American soil, are not some evil masterminds. They are mentally ill people who have no feeling of empathy, or whats right and whats wrong. There are ways to reduce these instances, and it starts with people truly understanding what mental health means, and signs of depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, etc...

I've not said that many bad things.

I didn't make out like they were evil masterminds.

I hardly think The Joker was an evil mastermind.

Anyway, this is moving way off topic again. Plus there'll never be a right and wrong answer because it's all opinion based.

I'm gonna stick to posting Willy's and making jokes

If you're going to name drop me Chris or Will or whatever your real name is at least do it with an actual point instead of just spamming a load of links without explaining what you're trying to use them in support of?

I'd finished my argument a week ago in highlighting the ignorant comments you'd made, now you seem to be suggesting that people are becoming less tolerant in general which is something I've not denied? That's fine, I agree with that, but that wasn't what my issue with you was when this started.

Why would my name be Will lol

And my entire argument was based around how people were becoming less tolerant towards muslims and how THEY WERE actually tarring then with the same brush.

Read the posts back... that was my exact argument! What else could it have been about

Because all of your images come from "WillSmith88"'s Photobucket;

Bit odd, having popped up out of nowhere and desperately tried to fit in by showering compliments on everyone without, as you said yourself, even posting in any theme park related threads.

And my entire argument was based around how people were becoming less tolerant towards muslims and how THEY WERE actually tarring then with the same brush.

It was about you tarring them with the same brush, or at least the comments that you posted coming across as such. It's why Snoo, myself, Joey, Furie and others have challenged you on it.

Yes, there is an increasing trend of people stereotyping an entire segment of society solely based on the actions of a few (a general theme that applies throughout every facet of the discussions in here), and the comments you've made, intentional or not, fuel that ignorance.

Ha ha my old email is will_smith_88@hotmail.co.uk

Funnily enough named after an actor that I really liked at the time of making...

And I don't see where I've been showering people with compliments. I think if you check my post history it's 50/50 between insult and compliment and the majority of my posts are more controversial rather than bland and boring.

If you read my posts I specifically stated that where I come from (the UK) and from experience from what I've saw that racism towards black people wasn't an issue but that racism towards muslims was becoming an increasing concern.

The problem you had was that you assumed that I was racist and jumped on your high horse.

And the random articles I posted were completely connected to the topic. Some were showing that minorities get away with being more edgy that white people towards the topic subject.

others backed up my point about the rising concern of Muslim hate within the UK

Both of which I do not support but you seem to have a hard time understanding the difference between backing something and recognising it is actually there.

And as for others standing against my posts most of them (Joey, Rizzo) nitpicked at tongue in cheek comments and took small parts completely out of context when I've posted about 20 times. When I countered Joeys posts and took a small part of it out of context he didn't seem to like that either even though it was the very thing you've all been doing.

Fair answer.

Clearly you're still at a loss because AGAIN you're accusing me of saying your racist when I've said nothing of the sort.

my point about the rising concern of Muslim hate within the UK

Which you yourself have been guilty of in here? Which is what myself and others have highlighted. You can say you don't support it but that's directly contrary to what you've said in this topic in multiple places. So either you're struggling to explain your views and tripping up over yourself, or you're guilty of stereotyping and yet complaining about stereotyping.

You can claim you've been taken out of context and misquoted until the sun comes home, your opening post contained; Unfortunately though a small percentage of Muslims have destroyed the reputation of Muslims in this country. , Also with Muslims and recent events it's getting harder and harder to differentiate between the normal ones and the radicals. no matter how you try and explain it, that's the horrendously poor matter-of-fact stereotyping that started all this.

Just because Chris isn't a bleeding heart politically correct liberal doesn't make him a bad or intolerant person...

No, his views however do.

You insinuated that I was a bad and intolerant person when that's not the case.

I keep my opinions quiet and I'm certainly not one of these X amount of percent that are rallying towards hate campaigns or treating Muslims differently in ever day life.

It's one thing to quietly have an issue. It's another altogether to start purposely affecting other people's lives because of said issue.

It all depends on how you define intolerant really. I don't believe I'm in intolerant because I actively do more to help minorities than I do to abuse them (which i do nothing)

Am I quietly annoyed about their beliefs and what they can lead to? Sometimes I am. Do I think that is racist/intolerant etc? No

No where in there is me calling you a racist though.

The two quotes I provided in the post above show your intolerance. Intolerant views may not be as bad as intolerant actions, but intolerant actions start with intolerant views.

Everybody has intolerant views towards everybody else. It's called differing opinions. Acting on said views is where intolerance comes into play. Since I'm a mature adult with a family I'm pretty sure I'm not going to put myself in a position where I'm visibly taking snipes at others.

You saw an opportunity to be the righteous man and jumped on it. Even though you don't know me in real life. I'm alot more intolerant to the white benefit scum bags living off my huge tax bills but I doubt anyone is gonna stand up for them

No one will stand up for benefits scumbags, because they are in the wrong. Comparing them with (the alleged crime of) simply being Muslim is precisely WHY everyone is pissed off with you.

Do yourself a favour, put down the shovel and leave the thread alone. It'd be to everyone's benefit.

Ha ha alright then

At least it's been interesting lol

Speaking of muslims did anyone catch the cricket tonight? Decent performance from PAK

That Sarfraz Ahmed looks a decent player

Smithy lighten up. Who even gives a ****!

I'm tired of going over this! Let's talk about something much more fun... like making money or partying.
