I wish something did go in the black hole tent, but it's unlikely, I don't think you could spend that amount of money on it , for one, you already have the tent there, and you couldn't really put a big, intense coaster in there. Although, you could put in a family coaster with a gimmick...

I also think the flume is safe, in the summer it's normally quite popular, plus I don't think a big coaster would fit in it's place.

RMT is quite popular, and not much space to fit a big coaster...

So that leaves us with the air car park. Hope not, and if it does go there then AT shouldn't move the entrance. I have a feeling it's gonna be in the place of haunted hollow. Not many people walk through, and there is lots of space. A coaster for Gloomy Wood? I have a feeling gloomy wood would be re-themed if a coaster appears there, seeing as there now is the dark forest.

the next one to go would be nemesis, but nemesis wont go anywhere before batman at six flags, so I don't think they will move or get rid of any of their coasters,

RMT would be removed before Nemesis.

I agree. RMT isn't the best ride in the park and it's not popular.

The Flume does get 60 minute queues but RMT gets a maximum of 30 minutes in the peek times.

Perhaps the Old MacDonald Farm would be next to go? Nobody ever visits there!

Except the families with smaller children of course... (And they do. I remember several visits with Karen and the kiddies, Aidan was too small for the majority of the rides except in that area)

Some of it does look run down though. There's a big ride there with some boats which could be where SW7 will be.

^Or not... Riverbank is amazing...

Besides, the only rides that should go there are kid/family rides... Since SW7 is meant to be a thrill ride, why put it in the kids area?

Plus, near the front of the park? OUCH... Look at Spinball's queues throughout any day of the week and tell me that it's a good idea...

Thorpe have the worlds first backwards rollercoaster. Maybe Alton can put the worlds first backwards looping coaster into the Black Hole Tent

This image from the Long term development plan shows the possible sites for coasters which they have outlined in purple.

The old Coaster corner site is the best bet I think.

I would really hate it if they put another entrance to Valley... Part of the Alton charm is the Monorail journey towards the entrance... :(

Indiana Jones at Disney Paris before they changed it? Boomerangs? Any kind of shuttle coaster (including Thunder Looper at Alton Towers?

Backwards looping coasters are one of the most prevalent kinds.

That's not to say Alton couldn't build one and say it's the world's first, like they did with Air.

Just a stab in the dark, but they've added a metal shutter to the back of the Black Hole tent.... Maybe they're hiding some developments?? :D You never know!

It has the space but I'd imagine it also has the strictest planning regulations as its the side of the park that's facing the village. It's one of the reasons that Thirteen is so small, anything taller would be visible.
