^Yes, but it also evens out the control node handles. If you select a segment and press I, then do the same for a series of segments, then Ctrl(command)+G it makes the track smoother.

Having said that, I've yet to actually use the technique myself. :lol:

I don't see a reason why this techniqe shouldn't work on a Mac, since the software itself is built from the same source. Will have a look on my iBook tomorrow.
Yeah command+'I' would be the Mac equivalent before smoothing the track with the built in smoother...

Sometimes that can happen if your segments are spaced too close together, so removing every other one can generally solve the problem.
