I did a cost-analysis of a small wooden coaster one time, using relatively cheap materials, but still something that would work. For the tiny thing I wanted to do, it was about $10,000. And that was about 7 years ago.

You'd be right in that case. There's not much in the way of money to spare.. especially for something as unnecessary as that. I think we'll stick with what we've got here.

Looks like a chest to hold stuff to me... just with a hinged lid. Maybe electronics. The coaster is looking great. I'm impressed with what all they're doing in terms of queue stuff. Looking forward to see how that turns out.

As I understand it, they were retrofitted, although I may be wrong. They just removed those back two middle seats and added the container for the audio equipment. I don't recall seeing anything about new trains for this one.

Giant update here: http://www.thethemeparkguy.com/park/yas-island/ Coasters going up and everything. The white one is apparently from Premier (new track design, eh?) and the black is from Maurer, according to Screamscape. Pretty impressive, I must say.

A lot of times I like TV more as you can stay with the characters for longer and develop relationships. In a movie (barring sequels), you have about 4 hours to do all of that. But I like how things change over episodes and seasons in TV shows. My favorite movie is Serenity, but the Firefly...

I like that log flume support. That's really cool looking.

It didn't look entirely terrible... I'm thinking some of the apparent roughness came from the guy holding the camera. Looks like a nice location for the ride too and I'm sure it'll be pretty popular since it's probably the biggest thing the park has.
