Grona Lund & Kolmarden (July 2022)

Lets finish this little report up with Kolmarden! Originally I wasn't going to do Kolmarden but basically talked myself into it, mainly for Wildfire! I had a bit of faff with tickets, I had originally booked tickets for Thursday and the forecast changed and was showing storms for Thursday. I...

Planes, Trains and Awesome Meatballs – Sweden, June 2022

Great trip report, I've just got back from Stockholm. Thanks for the recommendation for Meatballs for the People, loved it there!

"Pigs Might Fly" - Paultons Park, 21st May 2022

I'm definitely interested! I'd be getting the train (and then who knows what). If anyone else is doing the same, give me a shout and see what we can sort out.

    CF Lives 2022 - What's Happening

Of course Paultons is on the one weekend I have something planned in May! Sad times. Don't know if this is the right place to post, but if anyone is organising any small group trips (especially to Europe) I'd be interested in tagging along.

    Top 10(ish): 2024 Edition - page 124

After visiting BPB last week I've updated my top 10 (Big One is out and Icon is in). Unsure of I'll get any more creds this year but time will tell! (Edited after visiting Thorpe in July) Helix, Liseberg (Mack) Zadra, Energylandia (RMC) Taiga, Linnanmaki (Intamin) Dive Coaster, Chimelong (B&M)...

    Energylandia | Abyssus | Vekoma Shockwave+ | 2021

I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually remodel the area after the entrance. The first thing you see is that tacky Wacky Worm. They could create a little 'Main Street' or something. Yeah a type of shuttle bus would work quite well. Or they do something crazy like building an underground train!

Your year in review - 2020 edition

Um, the first post is missing for me on this thread. Is it just me? Anyway, here's mine: - Coaster Count at start of 2020: 127 - Coaster Count at end of 2020: 145 (Had planned to hit 150 this year!) - New coasters ridden in 2020: 18 - New parks visited in 2020: 2 - Park visits in 2020: 3...

    Energylandia | Abyssus | Vekoma Shockwave+ | 2021

I wonder how long it will be until the park put some kind of transportation in? With further expansion it's going to be quite the trek from the entrance to the back of the park!

    Not Another Poland Trip Report!

Ha! I hadn't realised that - it is quite pleasing! Yeah I didn't expect a rapids to be rough, but I got jolted and whacked around quite a bit and found it quite unenjoyable. Not what I've experienced on other rapid rides.

    Not Another Poland Trip Report!

So a few weeks ago I finally got to experience the now well known parks that are Energylandia and Legendia. I first considered making this trip last year when Zadra opened but I decided to wait until this year as Abyssus was also on its way (ha, look how that one worked out for me!) I won’t...

    Premiere Soquet Grilling

I have fond memories of going to Festyland as a child, it was quite a quirky park from what I remember. Various self-operated fairground type rides and so on. Looking at the website it seems to have modernised a lot since them. Thanks for sharing!

    Corona Comfort | A Nostalgic 2019 Scandinavia TR | Part 5: Liseberg

Great photos and report, especially the 'money shot'! Did you go on the dark ride which is sort of their own version of It's A Small World? It's such a beautiful park.

    Energylandia | Abyssus | Vekoma Shockwave+ | 2021

That's so frustrating for me. I purposely didn't go last year as Abyssus was due for this year. I'm due to go in September. Never mind!

    New Coaster at Wiener Prater

As someone said above, each ride at Prater is operated by individual vendors. That's the reason you pay per ride and can't get wristbands for the whole park. Maskerade is a waste of space, barely does anything. Infinity Coaster... no way.

Paultons Park | Tornado Springs | New Area | 2021

Stunning video, barely recognise it as the park I visited as a child! I really hope their next project is to replace the log flume, it sticks out like a sore thumb on that video.

Roller Coaster TV Programs and Other Related Videos

For those that have Disney+, 'The Imagineering Story' is a really interesting and insightful watch. There's also a 'Behind the Attraction' series in development too.
