I wonder how much these prototypes cost to manufacture and construct? And who foots the bill? Did Phantasialand pay for the F.L.Y prototype, or did Vekoma "absorb" the cost to show it off to other parks?
VelociCircusCoaster when?
I would be very impressed if s&s figured out inverted coasters and started selling interlocking sit-down and inverted sky rockets. Could even theme it to a trapeze act at efteling!
This analysis of the original master plan says there is/was limit of 30m but the park wants to go higher with something

I wonder if the rotation along the long axis is that slow for engineering reasons or to avoid swinging people through the other carriage's vom streams?
Oblivion easily for me! The queue and station add tension, the steeper-than-usual lift and slow crawl round the top just ratchets it up until you're hanging over the edge. The drop is mint and I'm a big fan of the overbank, especially in one of the outermost seats where you can really feel the...
Oops, I missed a word!
I was properly surprised at just how much faster OGTaron was off the launches, especially the second.
I wonder how close to the theoretical minimum speed All Speeds was running in the POV?
I'd love to see a proper 4D coaster in Europe. I'm still deluding myself that Chessington's new one is B&M's prototype!
I think the major stumbling block is how to achieve the precise, controlled rotation in a comfortable and cost-effective manner. Arrow demonstrated one way to do it with 'X'...
I could imagine something with a small mid-course size drop out of the station, with an inversion or two, maybe a bunny hill, then a big lift with the big drop that comes back up into the brakes with some wicked ejector on the way in. You'd need to have the station on a bit of a hill, but it...
"The ride will never open"
->posts tweet directly saying it's opening next year
Well gosh darn, they better pull it down and put a steel coaster there. If the wood is rotting and warping before guests have even ridden, it can't be safe to have a wooden structure in Florida. Best to start again...
Given that the splash screen on lightwater's website now boasts that they've tailored the offering to under-12's, I don't think T'Ultimate is going to be moving again. I know maintenance on it cost a fortune, I can't imagine they'll have been spending cash on keeping it "Rider ready" all this...
I'm a backpack fan, usually you can get away with just one for the group and then you just need to designate a Bag Carrier for each ride to put it into the lockers.
I don't trust cargo trousers on my legs, the middle pockets always seem to fall right in the pinch point between the restraint and...
I'm really struggling to wrap my head around why Merlin are spaffing millions away on a B&M shuttle, when other companies can do the same, or very similar, for much less outlay.
What are B&M bringing to the table that Mack, Intamin, or Vekoma can't? Capacity is the only thing I can think of...
