It would be a missed event opportunity if Kingda Ka was to close unceremoniously. With the floorless Green Lantern, I'd say it would be a fantastic opportunity and would provide a new experience for the park.

Sounds like RCDB seem to be jumping to conclusions a bit. The park haven't said anything about a permanent closure. It's most likely some sort of retheme.

Project Play is plausible for a junior rollercoaster with a generic layout such as Zierer Forces, Zamperla Gravity or Vekoma Juniors. Project Refresh and Renew's coaster is most certainly an Intamin Multi Dimension Coaster.
