I'm in two minds about the map. It's fairly accurate, so works as a map, but somehow downplays the attractions. It's almost as if Valhalla or Grand National are of equal interest as The Hot Ice Show.

Oh, yeah, hang on...
 
The map has grown on me since I first saw a pic of it at the start of the year, but I don’t like how Icon looks on it. Just Icon alone reminds me of the Thorpe Park maps.
 
The map has stuff missing for a start. Where is the Steeplechase track? And the Big Dipper turnaround section is missing. Does nobody proof read these? I have a fair few BPB park maps, and whilst I don’t analyse them with a fine toothed comb, to leave out big chunks of a couple of rides is a bit crap

Edit: Actually the Steeplechase track is shown, I think I’m referring to an early map from this season where it wasn’t present. Still, Big Dipper comes to an abrupt end after the dive bend !
 
@ATI “You Guess Who” I get the joke but come on, proper credit to them (Theme Park Updates) would still be nice.

Now, if @Coaster (who runs Theme Park Updates) is sat on the front row - who’s taking the pictures? Maybe he’s bought a highly advanced drone.
 
The front lights in the dark make the trains look so badass.

This coaster looks really solid. Let's see if it rides as well as it looks.
 
On a random note, I can't wait for Amanda Thompson's first ride on Icon on Wednesday. I'm quite surprised she hasn't already ridden it, but I can sense it will go something like this if past rides on similar coasters are anything to go by (insert necessary expletives where you feel the need to):
*Amanda is smiling as train leaves station*
*Ride launches*
Amanda: BLOOMIN' HELL!
*Train ascends airtime hill and drops into inclined loop*
Amanda: YOU SAID IT WAS NICE! IT'S BLOOMIN' HORRIBLE!

Surely she's done it? The rider cam would be a laugh though!
