Your own Coaster Prototypes

The weight of the double bogies would be huge, surely?

So you'd end up with really heavy trains, and then that doesn't take into account how you'd transfer between them (the bogies would have to be flexible to traverse the track, so they would 'droop' when not on rails etc), plus how would you attach the cars together? Attaching them at the top would mean the wheels on the bottom wouldn't work and vice versa (Imagine an inverted coaster where the bottom of the carriages were stuck together. The train wouldn't be able to make an uphill turn, such as going up a lift)

And then that doesn't even take into account zero-cars.

I don't like the idea of invert/floorless coaster. Surely it couldn't pick up much speed being that heavy?

My concepts:
-Indoor Water Coaster
-Looping Spinning Coaster
-Launched Hybrid Coaster
-Preier Rides Sky Loop style with a longer circuit

Coaster made of composite polymer materials. You heard it here first.

And yes, for those who know your material science, I'm not talking about woodies...

An inverted woodie is just the worst idea, i can see absolutely no gap in the market for something like that! To be fair so much has been done with coasters i think there's a limit to how much more variety there can be. Divertical's lift system is a great idea and a space saver, also you have Gerst doing that with the vertical lifts.

Maybe something like the idea for Thunderbolt at Coney Island before we saw any construction:

Sorry but im not a fan of this invert/floorless idea, seems like a lot of effort for what would eventually be a poor ride!

Now B&M have finally caught up with the rollercoaster market and built a launched coaster I'd absolutely love to see launched flyer, something similar to the inclined launch on The Incredible Hulk would be perfect I think!

Not really a coaster prototype, but I'd love to see a Mondial starflyer with seats in the flying position. The seats act as pendulums so you can sway from side to side once at the top of the tower. I think capacity would be a problem though, so it would probably have to have the same amount of seats as a fun time starflyer.
