What is the highest positive G Force you have experienced on a coaster?

Mine is 4.9 on Revolution at SFMM. Hopefully shall break the 5G barrier someday!

I have no idea at all.

But, I guess, I've just gotten into to 5-6. I've at least had 5+ on a flat. I couldn't tell you for sure on the subject of coasters, but I'd guess 5-6.

I'm pretty sure the Wildcat at Cedar Point pulls the most G's at that park. I'm sure I heard somewhere that it pulls 4.5 + g's.

I think my highest is +4.7G on Rita, unless i've gone higher on a flat ride of some sort.

What G does Oblivion pull? RCDB lists it at +4.5G, but i've heard it being call +5G or higher. If, so Oblivion is my highest. :p

Wildcat? What the Hell?!

Anyway, most of the coasters I've been on don't really specify the amount of G's they have on RCDB, but from a guess I would say 5-6. The most intense few bits on some coasters I've been on are:

-Millennium Force's first drop which is the closest I've been to blacking out on a coaster.

-Raptor's helix is pretty intense, there have been a lot of lost shoes on that one.

-Shivering Timber's airtime.

Not sure on the exact G's though.

As for flats, MaXair is probably the most intense I've been on. Though, Texas Twister at Geauga Lake made me pretty dizzy.

I don't know if any of you have been on one of these, but at my local fair back at the beginning of summer, there was this super intense flat ride. I don't know the technical name of it, but here is a descritption and hopefully someone can help me:

-3 arms
-3 cars per arm
-Middle thing rotates all arms, while each arm rotates separately

Anybody know the technical name for this? As this was probably one of the most intense rides I've ever been on. I didn't like it though.

A Sizzler/Twist? Hmm, I suppose they do pack some quite harsh lats. I remember nearly breaking my neck on an Orbiter once, that hurt.

^The one in Rhyl was HORRIBLE. It ran backwards at at least two times over the legal limit.

That was the worst sustained G Force I've ever had to live through.

Oh, and yeah, I've hit at least 5.2g on La Via Volta at WW. Probably at the back through the loop backwards. Insane.

Oh yeah, Boomerangs are bloody intense.

Magnum force, Ritas helix and Oblivion are also worthy mentions.

From your normal G force experience (+1) ST's airtime is probably a 1-2 G difference from normal. I bet you've ridden 20-30 coasters with greater G force change.

The most intense for me would probably be S:UF's pretzel loop but some other honorable mentions:

KK's pull-up: It puts that heavy as anything restraint DOWN and hard too.
Laser: Those two loops were intense as anything
Robin: The Chiller's Cobra Roll: If you thought all cobra rolls were like this, you'd be in heaven. Its almost stupidly intense.

Yeah Rita's second bend is mega forcefull.

But mine is 5.2 on the Boomerangs that I've been on,

I'd like to experience the 6.3G's on the Tower of Terror :)

I've hit 6.7 Gs on Superman: Ultimate Flight at SFOG. I remember a thread where UC told me that the pretzel loop hit a whopping 6.7 Gs in a quick spike during the pretzel loop. And I believe it too, i's forceful as hell!

As for the feeling... total death, but great at the same time.

Nemesis only has 3 :p

My coaster highest G-Force would be Missile at American Adventure or Boomerang at Pleasure Island both at 5.2 because they're clones :p

I've probably gone a lot higher than that on flats though. Rotors and round-ups and spinny rides like that tend to have really high G-Force. Stargate does as well actually.

Does it really?

2Xtreme has to be THE most intense ride i've ever been on pulling about
-1.5g when swinging past the platform upside down and it doesnt half make your blood go to your head! Only a Mondial ride would pull that kind of G force

Total death? Are you out of your mind? That feeling is the coolest I've ever felt on a coaster. I really can't hold a straight face at the bottom of the pretzel loop ever. I try, and I try, but I just can't. It makes me laugh.

Oh, yeah I forgot 2xtreme!

According to that it's 4gs so just imagine pulling 4 g's upside down after swinging 164.0 ft in the air. The pressure on your head in insane!

I noticed that also on RCDB, but that makes no sense at all as Air pulls 3 G's and Nemesis feels (To me anyways) a lot more forceful than Air.

Rita seems to be the coaster that I have pulled the most G Force on, 4.7 I beleive.

NO idea.. there are quite a few forces I remember alot.. Double Loop @ GL has TONS of G's in between the loops.. TTD and MF have some spikes in G's in certain spots... ect..

Inidana Jones at DLP also has high +G's in its loop.

When it was running backwards, the +G's in the loop were mental!
