I know what you mean, Jerry, but like other people said, liking someone comes down to the physical stuff too, and it would be a bit hard to date someone and have a good time with them in general but know that they're getting pleased somewhere else . If I liked them that much, I'd want them to be exclusive to me.. Strippers wouldn't be as bad because they're not having sex, but still.

The question wasn't would you have a serious relationship or marry a porn star - it's would you date one? As far as I remember date means to go out together for a night. Maybe the meaning has changed or is different in England? To me going out on a date doesn't even mean that you are necessarily going to have sex, but everyone's talking about sex or relationships or even marriage? :?
Of course no one wants someone else screwing their wife/husband or girlfriend/boyfriend, but that wasn't the question asked.

Yah, but date here means like, you're dating and in a relationship, at least that's how I took it. If it meant one date, yah I guess, but I wouldn't see the point. I never saw the point in starting to go out on dates with someone and getting in a relationship with them, if you didn't think it could last. It's really just pointless and a waste of time.

For me it wasn't a waste of time. I wasn't looking for a serious relationship & there are probably people on CF that aren't looking for a serious relationship either. Why does one always have to be looking for a serious relationship?
I went out on lots of dates without wanting anything more than a good time out & possibly some great sex. In fact I'd say some of the best times out & best sex (for that matter) was had when I wasn't looking for a serious relationship.
I'd also go as far to say that it isn't a good idea to date only looking for a serious relationship when you're young. It's much better to just date without any expectations & just see how it goes.
Maybe it's just a guy thing, but many of the girls I dated seemed to feel the same way.

Ahaha funniest thing just happened after seeing this topic the other day, I was talking to my ex, and he said he was "escorting two australian men", my face froze, I actually thought I had dated an escort ahaha. *cough* Yeh.
