I know I´m late but I think its actually pretty save to say that it will have lapbars, because thats what Funtime usually puts on their drop towers. The OTSRs on Highlander are a special request by Hansapark because they wanted the visitors to feel save during the tilting of the seats. So I think the chances of that one having lapbars are much higher than it having OTSRs. Can´t be 100% shure though. What's your evidence that it's going to have the lapbars over the OTSRs?
Oh, wow. I actually drove past there tonight and didn't even notice! I guess I was too preoccupied laughing at the vacant lot where the Polar Coaster is supposed to go.Finally, pieces are arriving on site
If this is their "Skyfall" model then it's more likely to have OTSRs. The ones at Wiener Prater and Nigloland don't have lapbars.I know I´m late but I think its actually pretty save to say that it will have lapbars, because thats what Funtime usually puts on their drop towers. Oh okay then I'm sorry for bringing that discussion back up, I thougt only Highlander had those OTSRs. We will see.If this is their "Skyfall" model then it's more likely to have OTSRs. The ones at Wiener Prater and Nigloland don't have lapbars.
The Orlando Freefall will stand 430 feet tall and surpass the current record holder, Zumanjaro at SFGADV, by 15 feet (which only stands 415 feet tall and Kingda Ka’s total height isn’t counted). Is it confirmed how tall this is going to be? How much taller will it be than the current record holder?
Yeah, it seems like a missed opportunity not having even a soft opening for IAPPA attendees. The drop tower looks massive and great, at night, definitely suits the park's name.Last night, was the first night, the tower was lit
Still a lot of ground work to be done at the base of both rides but they should be opening within a few weeks (I was hoping for an IAAPA preview.... but that clearly won't be happening)
