Let's see who can read beyond a topic title...

I was having a look on coast-to-coaster for ideas on future trips, and ended up looking at a few coasters that are really spiteful based on their locations, meaning that most people would never get to ride them.

Yes, I'm well aware that a few hunks of steel are of absolutely no importance in the grand scheme of things, and that this might be in slightly poor taste, but whatever; I thought it was interesting.

There are two creds in Gaza:

A cred in Mosul:

This one in Aleppo - though highly unlikely to still be standing:

Then there's this coaster, which isn't in a war zone, but you're not allowed into Mecca if you're not Muslim. Might get onto the Daily Mail about that one.

They make the North Korean coasters look like an easy weekend away.

Any others? I don't think I need to spell it out that I don't mean coasters that were closed when you visited, but there you go; I just have.

I think Saudi Arabia in general should be there. You basically can't get a tourist visa, and even when you do, they wouldn't allow single males (or a group) to enter the parks...

Not exactly a war zone - but allegedly just as dangerous for a small boy - Michael Jackson had a cred or two at his Neverland Ranch.
Only a 'chosen' few got to ride those things, I tell ya...

^^ sure I've read some TRs from Saudi - specifically the little +1 parks near all the big religious citys - can't immediately recall where I read them though, I'll see if I can remember... (EDIT : wasn't a TR, just some comments in this thread in RRC https://groups.google.com/d/topic/rec.r ... discussion )

A cred in Aleppo though, wow. Counter Count reports "0 riders".

Isn't Saudi Arabia where the women only theme park is? I'd do it just for the spite. Someone would have to drive me though.

Guam gets a lot of visitors though. There's nothing stopping anyone here from going if they really wanted to.

What about that Maurer Spinner in Lebanon that barely operated once troubles started there?

Anything in Saudi Arabia or Syria because for different reasons it's impossible to get a tourist visa.

Anywhere else is just expensive to get to... those two you'd really struggle even with sufficient funds.

Going on from the Neverland suggestion, this is the only place with coasters still operating that RCDB lists as 'private':

https://rcdb.com/4612.htm

It's only open 2 days per year.

More like 6 or 7 now.... And honestly isn't that difficult to obtain if you plan a trip around it. I myself, and many others on here have the Strickers coasters.

I also have Michael Jackson's Dragon Wagon credit from the summer it spent at Coney Island, before Luna Park was built.... But after Astroland was ripped out.

An Israeli stamp in your passport means you are barred from a few countries. None of which are cred hotbeds.

A couple of others can be problematic to enter, but this can be hit or miss.
