Only one of the options is an operating system (and not very narrowed down there either).

You could be Windows (whichever flavour), Mac OS (whichever), Unix/Linux (whichever flavour) or Workbench (whichever flavour).

They were just another company.

They dissapered a while ago. Then their OS, Workbench, came back in 2008.

Haha, it has treated me well though.. I mean I haven't had to have a computer repair in years (touch wood, obviously) and it runs fairly fast as well. There are programs it can't run which is a bugger but otherwise it's decent.
