Which theme parks should Merlin take over?

^No because they're good parks that build stuff and Merlin would just add in theatrical experiences and slowly watch them die.

Didn't the company who owns Merlin used to own Busch as well though? Could be wrong but seem to remember them owning at least a 50% stake.

^ Blackstone - but they are "just" the money, used to own bits of Universal too.

("just" being not insignificant of course, but they aren't into operating places "just" owning them)
