What's Your Opinion: Wicked land in Universal Studios?

Due to Wicked's immense popularity, I've heard some people claiming it will inevitably recieve a themed land in some Universal park. I'm curious what you folks might think about this prospect.

Is it feasible? Is Wicked unique enough? Does Wicked have the same everlasting popularity as something like Harry Potter?

It doesn't appeal to me, but it's really just Oz, isn't it? Put like that, I can see why people would want to visit the locations such as the Emerald City etc. I'm sure I remember a Flying Monkey ride being a sort of in-joke in the coaster world, but I can't remember the precise details... Well, we might actually see it now!

Proclaimed perfect kingdom run by a white guy with a green antagonist who is misunderstood and just wants to break out of their cage to be free? I thought we already had that story covered in the Jurassic Park section.

Clever.

Though I don't recall the T-Rex being green...

I also don't remember the T-Rex flying on a broomstick whilst singing Defying Gravity 😜

But yeah, if there came a land around Wicked it would just be Oz. They probably have to jump through a lot of hoops to get around the copyrighted changes Warner Bros.' made, but it would be possible. And at least I see Universal creating a higher value land than that cheap looking area Warner Bros. Movie World opened last year. But yeah, I am not sure if the popularity of this film will last long enough to warrant a full land. Apart from theatre kids, the general public didn't seem to care about it previously, so this might just be a short hype of a few years and then completely die down.
