Whats your favourite ride music?

I adore Nemesis Inferno's theme tune, play it with a bass box and it gives you a wierd feeling

Yeah I know, the camp voice thing is pathetic. If they spent 50p more, they could have gotten a deep, menacing voice, but no. They didn't even need to put it on to start with.

I could've sworn I'd posted in here before. It seems not....

Disney, in general, do music better than other parks. Having said that, Alton and Thorpe have some excellent ride music, Alton especially.

If I had to choose one ride, I'd go with Sinbad's Storybook Voyage at DisneySea. I can't put my finger on it, but I love that song. It's repetitive, yes, but for some reason doesn't get annoying.

Oh, and any ride that just slaps on any old existing song, unless there's a specific tie-in, is lame.

Troy, Hex, Villa Volta, Winter in Toverland, Promenadelied (Toverland), Valhalla. There are more but those are amongst the top ones. :D

Duel and the Flume :--D They are great. Nemesis used to have better music than it does now in my opinion. The old Toyland Tours music as well, I used to love that! Alton Towers as a whole has great music

Nemesis still has the same music, apart from in part of 2007, which is now on YourDay.

rock n roller coaster WDW......the aerosmith music goes with the theme nicely

Well obviously, because the theme IS Aerosmith!

For me? Well it has to be Space Mountain De la Terre a la Lune, I feel that the music was very emotional, and fitted the ride so perfectly. I just think that the Mission 2 music spoiled it a bit - not special enough, not as unique.

The attraction as De la Terre a la Lune:

Mission 2:

^Mission 2 music is AMAZING! Fits the pace and action of the ride much better than the first one.

^ On the opposite, the music to Disneyland's Space Mountain is what made the ride for me. Absolutely stunning composition that sets this coaster apart from just another in-the-dark ride.

Making your way up the lift hill with the audio blaring in your head rest, cresting the hill as mission control counts down your "lift off ignition"; it is an awesome experience in which the audio makes the difference.

My new favourite ride music (for now at least) is from Port of Pirates at Aqua Stadium. Just got back from there. My coworkers wanted to go somewhere a bit "different" for a couple of beers, so I thought the pirate bar could be cool.

Not a great quality video, my camera's crap for video, but you can get the idea.

I completely agree with you Ollie. Mission 2's music makes the ride feel A LOT and I mean A LOT faster and action packed than it really is. Thumbs up to Disney for that one. It still has a live orchestra in there, it's just backed up with synthesizers.

I have to say though, the best score is Phantom Manor. It's so chilling and the female voice runs right through my body. Love it so much!

Ha, I can't believe this topic is still going, I started it almost a year ago.
Can't say I'm too impressed with Mission 2's music. I've only heard it from the video though.
I still haven't heard any original ride music which tops Hex in my opinion.

Slammers music is also brilliant, but not original, it's from the film Van Helsing, composed by Alan Silvestri.
You'll also hear a fair bit of Silvestri's music at Port Aventura, at the entrance.

The music they play during the ride on Eurosat is awesome!!

Millennium Force and Wicked Twister.

Delicious.

MF's is good until you hit the station. Waiting in line for the front seat for 20 minutes listening to that 5 second loop (seems like it) of techno isn't much fun.

Top Gun at KI used to have pretty good music, but then again it used to have a decent paint job, too.

Overall I'd have to say Dragster. The music fits perfectly and it doesn't get old too quick.

I think Alton Towers really benchmarks how ride music should be done. Sometimes I doubt it, but when you listen to the music more & more it makes sense and suits the ride.

I always thought Oblivion's ride music was a bit to 'chavvy' for me, but it actually perfects itself the more you hear it.

i love Vortex at thorpe parks it is sooooooo good it works with the swinging and the womens voice that is realllly kreepy
