What's your favourite inversion?

I love rollovers, just a shame they're usually on SLCs! The ones on Xpress and Rock N Rollercoaster were enjoyable though.

I love the dive loop on Medusa, but the opening Zero-G roll on The Hulk is one of the best.

Ill list em

Dive Loop - Bizarro/Medusa
ZGR- Hulk
Interlocking Corkers - Dueling Dragons
Pretzel Loop - Vekoma SLC rides
the classic double corker
Raven Turn - X
slow barrel roll - Hydra

Pretzel loop (Superman Ultimate Flight) and Cobra Role on a floorless coaster (Medusa).

I guess I've never posted in here...

So, either Manta's pretzel loop (simply cause it's the only one I've done) or Montu's batwing.

Epicness.

I have to go with pretzel loops for the insane amount of G-Force and the cool feeling of heading head-first straight to the ground. Backwards loops are almost as good, though. Flashback at SFNE packs a really surprising punch (although it also packs a rather painful one at that being a Vekoma boomerang :?).

I love the flying snake dive on Storm Runner. But maybe a Norweigan Loop. Not sure, I'll try both this month and I'll get back to ya with that.

mine would be the 0-g roll on bazzaro great adventure favorite seat is on the left most momentum going through the loop

The good old vertical loop for me.

Schwarzkopf loops are pure genius, but mention goes to Dragon Khans, even Colossus gets my thumbs up.

Although i'm yet to ride one, the pretzel inversion, like on the superman flying coaster, would love to experience that, :D

I don't know why, but all of the feelings of when that was the forts loop in the world seem to rush to me when I go through that loop.

Technically that wasn't the first loop ever done on a roller coaster, but it was the first modern, clothoid loop.

In general, I have to agree with most of you that B&M zero-G rolls are the best. My favorite individual inversions, though, are probably:

The pretzel loop on Superman (the only one I've done)

The second loop on the Hulk when sitting in the back row (it's pretty tight so you actually get whipped around the top of it and into the dive while still on the way up... very cool )

The huge first loop on Dominator (not that forceful, but it's fun to be upside down that high off the ground and for that long)

In terms of intensity, Alpengeist's cobra roll kicks the <img src='http://www.coasterforce.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_censored.gif' /> out of any other inversion I've done.
I heard such good things about Alpengeist's cobra roll... And how the rest of the ride is crap. Utter bollocks.

It doesn't feel like a cobra roll, but I thought Raptor's was pretty much the same. It's a headbanging nightmare of laterals. It's the most intense inversion on Alpengeist, yes, but that's not hard. There's more intense inversions in the park over on LNM...

On a tangent... Alpengeist is good. The drop is pretty incredible as it goes on for bloody ever. The immelman, loop and cobra roll aren't distinguishable from sensation as said inversions due to their size and speed. And you get wind battering which is really unusual for an invert and makes the ride seem even faster. The zero-g is meh and corkscrews are almost always lame.
