vote then debate why your prefrence is your favourite, there is no right or wrong and I would prefer it if we all respect each others opinions :D even if you haven't experienced a model you can vote for it on what it looks like and opinions you have heard cool),

My favourite is got to be Inverted due to their smoothness, layouts and originality howver I nearly voted for diving machines as I love the suspense and tension they build,OBLIVION FTW!
 
I wanted to say "wing rider" (or what ever B&M call them), but since that one isn't in the poll, then I would go for Invert.

Still I haven't ridden any sit downs, standups and only Dæmonen for floorless...
 
It's a tie between Inverts and Dive Machines for me. I think, overall, I prefer Inverts. But, like Coastermaniac said, I love the tension that the Dive Machines build.
 
I've got to go with Inverts. However, if more flying coasters like Manta and Tatsu are built, I'd pick flying instead as I absolutely love Manta.
 
Invert- Patriot and Batman. Done and done.
Hyper- Diamondback. Enough said.
Flyer- Tatsu is one of my favorites, and S:UF was awesome
Standup- Riddlers is so much better than Mantis and Iron Wolf, but its not towards the top.
Floorless- Scream, while fun, doesn't rank with the best
 
Obviously there are good and crap examples of each type, but in general i'd say Hypers, Dive Machines and maybe Inverts.

Floorlesses, Flyers and Sit Downs are alright, but not that exciting (apart from Tatsu), and I'm really not a big fan of the Stand Ups.

As for the Wing Rider, I'll let you know on wednesday ;).
 
Despite the fact my favourite coaster (Alpengeist) is an Invert, a lot of the ones I've been on have been pretty weak. Silver Bullet and Nemesis are examples of my least favourite B&Ms as well.

I'm yet to ride a Stand-up or Wing Rider so can't comment on those.

I've only ridden one example of a Mega (Apollo's Chariot) and thought it was excellent but of course there are differences in the types. I enjoy Air but I'm not sure how much I'd enjoy the larger Flyers, I'll be able to answer that later in the year. Kraken is the only floorless I've ridden and there was nothing wrong with it but it wasn't anything amazing.

As for Sit-Downs, I've only ridden Hulk which is rather unconventional in itself and I actually really think it's good and I've heard good things about the other sit-downs.

I'd probably go for Dive Machines. Oblivion and Griffon are fantastic and I love the experience of them. Oblivion STILL makes me nervous when I ride it and although they're short, the experience is really exhilarating and I have high hopes for SheiKra and the other Dive Machines.

Nope or I would have said so. Montu is 13, Afterburn is 14, Tatsu is 15.. and then it all trickles down.. etc etc.

Manta is my #1, so I guess flyers, but I've only been on the one.

I love inverts, they're really good. Montu is #2 and I've been on a bigger variety.

Dive Machines are great, I think Sheikra is #4 or something. I love the drop and the weird airtimes on the ride.

Sitdowns are good too, I like them. A little more conventional but still great fun, I really enjoy both Hulk and Kumba.

Floorless coasters don't really do anything for me, as far as I'm concerned they're basically sitdowns. So, meh.
 
Hyper and inverted!

Hypers, when they're actually GOOD, have fab airtime, like Behemoth and stuff. But they're also really hit and miss because I've been on a lot of crappy ones as well, though I suppose that could be said for a lot of coaster types.

Inverts are usually just average but when you get a good one they're really amazing and forceful. Nemesis is in my top ten and is ranked higher than any other B&M model in my coaster count, and then there's Afterburn and Batman: the Ride which are also really good.
 
My favourite B&M is a sit-sown (Dragon Khan) but I say my favourite types are either Inverts or Flyers. I love the flying concept and I've enjoyed both Air and Superman: Ultimate flight but Tatsu and that new China one look way better!

So I'll say Invert for the moment.

I'd love to try their new Wing Rider as it looks like it could be awesome!
 
Dragon Khan's by FAR my favourite B&M, but in terms of ride type the Inverts are the best by a country mile on the whole. My #3, 4 AND 5 are all B&M inverts.

Yeah, Chessie is **** and dull, so I'm posting on CF. :lol:
