What If Australia's Wonderland Was Still Open?

My guess is a Scooby Doo Dark Ride in Kidzville or a Vekoma Junior Suspended Coaster in Nickelodeon Splat City/Nickelodeon Central

2001

Alright, let's just cut to the chase.

International Village

A new film in the Action Theater is added in 2001, which is Stan Lee's 7th Portal 3D, a show based off of a web cartoon created by Stan Lee himself. The show also aired on UPN in the US (which was owned by Paramount), so that's probably why it was added.

Kidzville

Some parts of the area were absorbed by a new one. The show in the Town Square Theater is "Scooby-Doo and the Ghost in the Attic".

Nickelodeon Central

New for 2001 is Nickelodeon Central, which is essentially an expanded version of Nickelodeon Splat City. There would be three new rides added, which include the following:
  • Nickelodeon Space Surfer: A Chance Rides Aviator on the former plot of Touché Turtle's Clipper.
  • Rugrats Runaway Reptar: A Vekoma Family Suspended coaster, which would be an exact clone of the one at Kings Island, theming and all.
  • Rugrats Toonpike: A driving school attraction which would take over more leftover land from the Zodiac, and it would be a clone of the Kings Dominion ride.
Huckleberry Hound's Merry-Go-Round would also be rethemed to Nick-O-Round to fit the new theme.
Other changes to the area would include Scooby's Bakery being rethemed to The Wild Thornberry's Explorer Café, and the Rugrats meet-and-greet area is replaced with a Blue's Clues one.

Transylvania

The show in the Paramount Theater for the season is "Pop Fusion".

Action Zone

The show in the Action Showplace for the season is "Karaoke 2001".

Goldrush

There are no changes this year.

Water Works

There are no changes this year.
Next season, get ready for another area retheme.

2002

Well, this year is going to be... interesting, to say the least.

International Village

New in the Action Theater is Meteor Attack!, which would actually play alongside 7th Portal. At the end of the season, Bounty's Revenge, the Intamin looping pirate ship ride, would close for good.

Kidzville

There are no changes here.

Nickelodeon Central

New for the season is the ability to meet Dora the Explorer and Jimmy Neutron in the form of costumed characters. The show in the Green Slime Bowl Theater for the season is "Nick Slime Time: The Live Show".

50's Corner

Brand new for 2002 is 50's Corner, a generic retheme of the Transylvania section. The new rides for the season are Flying Eagles, a Larson Flying Scooters ride, Psyclone, a Mondial Revolution pendulum ride, and Shockwave, a Mondial Top Scan ride. The other rides in the area would also be rethemed. The rethemed rides include:
  • The Demon became Mighty Mouse (the ride was also repainted to have yellow track and red supports).
  • Dragon's Flight became Celebration Swings.
  • Wizard's Fury became The Fury.
Other things that happened in the area included The Demon's Dungeon gift shop being rethemed to Coaster Station, Gargoyle's Grill becoming the Happy Days restaurant, and Merlin's Floss becoming Celebration Snacks. The show playing in the Paramount Theater for the season is Graveyard Shift.

Action Zone

The show being played in the Action Showplace for the season is Karaoke 2002.

Goldrush

The Billabong Grove catering area is closed for a future expansion.

Water Works

There are no changes here.
This year was more eventful than I though. Well, stay tuned for next year, as it's addition might take you to the Final Frontier.

2003

Sorry about the weight, but there was just some news about a certain large theme park company closing a whole park. Well, let's just get started.

International Village

New for the season is Cliffhanger, a Mondial Splash Over ride which would be located in the former area of Bounty's Revenge. The films in the Action Theater would all be replaced with SpongeBob SquarePants 3-D, which would later become the longest running film for the attraction. In other news, the Busytown Store would be rethemed to the Nickelodeon Store. A new street show would be added in "Nicktoons Live @ 5", basically being a massive gathering of Nickelodeon cartoon characters so children can meet them.

Kidzville

There are no changes here.

Nickelodeon Central

This year, the Green Slime Bowl theater would be renamed to simply just the Nickelodeon Theater, and the show playing for the season would be "Slime Time Live!".

50's Corner

New for the season is SlingShot, a Funtime Slingshot up-charge attraction. The show playing in the Paramount Theater for the season is "Legends in Concert".

Action Zone

In the most popular months of the season, a temporary Tomb Raider Stunt Show would play. The show playing in the Action Showplace for the season is "Karaoke 2003".

Goldrush

There are no changes here.

Water Works

There are no changes here, either.

Star Trek World

The main new attraction for 2003 would be the Star Trek World themed section. The ride in the section would be called "Starfleet Academy", a motion simulator attraction by McFadden Systems, that would be very similar to the Star Trek: The Experience attraction at the Las Vegas Hilton. The only difference is that instead of flying through Las Vegas at the end, you would fly through Sydney instead. This year also saw the opening of the Deep Space Nine gift shop.
Well, that was a little more exciting of a year for sure. Next season is for the kids, just so you know.
