New coasters are just starting to open with many more to come. Obviously we can't make any conclusions yet, but what do you think will turn out to be your favorite/best new coaster for 2013?

Sorry if I didn't include any coaster that's not on this list, there may be some others I'm forgetting.

For me, I originally thought that Iron Rattler would be the best new coaster, especially after the success of New Texas Giant. But after seeing test runs of it I'm kinda leaning back to Outlaw Run. Both are very similar, but Outlaw seems to go faster throughout the entire ride, whereas Iron Rattler seems to lose its speed much quicker.

So I'm going with Outlaw Run because it looks a little bit more exciting.
 
Not saying this to be biast, but the Smiler *could* be amazing. It's all down to how Gerstlauer we're feeling when they made it!

Gatekeeper looks really nice too, but I dont think any Wingriders will be that amazing to top the likes of what RMC come out with.
 
I voted for The Smiler, but if I could vote for 2 I would vote for iron rattler as well, both rides looks truly amazing, but The Smiler just wins for how much track they have fitted in such a small place!

LOL! As if Smiler will open in 2013.
 
1. Outlaw Run (tied) It looks amazing! The whole ride looks airtime chunked and smooth.
1. Iron Rattler (tied) ^ exact same reason.
3. Hades 360 - I have always wanted to ride and finally I can ride it smooth and with an inversion. It does look dangerous though :? .
4. Fjord Dragon - haven't even seen the layout an it looks awesome!
5. Bullet Coaster - looks fast, fun and it goes underwater! Another S&S fun ride.
6. Gatekeeper - bullet barely edged out this great looking coaster. The size of Wild Eagle combined with the great layout and near-misses of X-Flight and you got a world class Wing Coaster.
7. Storm - looks like a lot of airtime and a fun heartline roll to end it.
8. Smiler - Am I the only one who thinks this looks GREAT!!! I love their rides and find them smooth so I would love to ride their record breaking looper.
9. Full Throttle - This coaster looks pretty fun. The launch looks decent but the layout is pretty stupid. Why a backwards launch? It looks way to short too.
10. Karacho - another good looking Gerstlaeur. The LIM looks promising but the layout is almost austere so I will see
11. White Lightning - When I heard a GCI was coming to a small park in Orlando. I laughed but it looks like actually decent airtime. Not looking like one of GCI's best but good.
12. Flying Over rainforest - a wing coaster with a dive loop :--D .
13. Gold Striker- looks like one of the lesser of GCI's smooth coasters. Airtime isn't looking the best here.
14. Nitro - any B&M floor less looks hood to me.
15. U shaped roller coaster - THAT'S A HUGE HALF PIPE!!!
16. Orkanen - a big inverted roller coaster with no inversions? Strange but looks good. The tight turns look intense actually
17. El Loco - El Locos have always looked good but an indoor looks better.
18. Angry Birds- ^ same reason but not indoors.
19. Juvelin- looks like thirteen themed to the jungle.
20. Joker- if all "Pandemonium" spinning coasters had this awesome theming, they'd be much more popular. A spinning coaster themed toward the Joker is a great idea and they did well!
21. Undertow - I have always wanted to ride this type of spinning coaster. It looks very fun.
22. Boomerang - I heard that this was getting new Vekoma trains, only reason it is this high.
24. Coast Rider - Wild Mouse... This is why Knott's is a bad park
25. Kiddies - bleck, no comment
26. Hero - I would ride this Volare, if I wanted to die.
 
Based off the rides I'm doing this year (and posted above) Boomerang - Six Flags St. Louis, Iron Rattler - Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Outlaw Run - Silver Dollar City, and White Lightning - Fun Spot America... I'll say Iron Rattler, even if I liked the old one, I'm sure the new Rattler will be fantastic. I'm also pretty excited for Lightning, seeing is how I can pretty much see it from my house! (well, I can see their bright green sky coaster at least!)
 
The only one on there I'll probably be able to ride is Gatekeeper. I might be able to get to Mt Olympus for Hades 360 and possibly Silver Dollar City for Outlaw Run. Of those, I'd probably be most looking forward to Outlaw Run. However, I think we all know that the Golden Ticket for best new ride of 2013 is already going to Gatekeeper.

Outlaw Run I expect the same result but think iRat will debut #1? Would be crazy to see a new one break the Bizarro/EGF streak but I'm not sure...though guess with NTG up there we can't be surprised.


Golden Ticket almost certainly go to Gatekeeper yeah. Which will probably be the only new ride I get on...
Tough to compare all these different types but I personally like the flow/layout of Outlaw Run best.
All we know for sure is one helluva coaster season coming up :)
 
I'll be doing both Iron Rattler and Outlaw Run, and of the two, I'm slightly more excited for Rattler.

Both look dead sexy though. It's really a toss-up.

He means Iron Rattler will be ranked the highest new Steel and Outlaw Run will be ranked as the highest new Wood...
 
GateKeeper is the sexiest looking, and it's the one I'm most looking forward to riding this year.

However, if I had the opportunity to ride any one, it would probably be Outlaw Run.
