Walibi Holland | YoY | RMC Raptor | 2025

There won't be a loop if i'm correct. This would be the pathing, Goliaths plaza won't be the connecter, it's more towards the kids area they build there, it will finally remove the dead end though with a connection at the dead end near the rapids. Giving some nice views of Xpress
A path near the entrance of Condor to YoY has been build. There will be no connection between the rapids and YoY.

Is it just me that doesn't understand the theme/style/brand of this ride? The logo, entrance and trains look like they belong to completely separate rides...? Hopefully it all ties together as one complete package when it's complete. Just, for a duelling RMC single rail, the branding and styling isn't particularly doing anything to excite me.

The whole thing is quintessential Walibi Holland.

Does Untamed really make sense? How does the chilled music, Love signs and insect-themed train tie together? It doesn't, but who cares, it works.

YoY is just a mix of chill nature vibes, thrilling stuff, and everything in between.

I love it.

If we talk about branding, theming or styling, Walibi Holland never excites. It is just an ugly park with a weird taste in theming!

I don't mind a theme that isn't too literal and that makes you develop your own thoughts about it. Untamed for example, the LOVE sign together with the overgrown area gives me a feeling of a community hidden in the wilderness, it kinda works as a free theme for me. However on YoY every element of theming feels like it comes from a different time or a different dimension, so I agree I don't feel or understand it yet. Maybe when it is all finished it makes more sense.

Yeah I don't mind Walibi Holland's style. It reminds me very much of a music festival. Lots of abstract art peices that don't really make sense, but take elements of nature and the psychedelic to create something visually interesting.

Lots of twisting real life objects to create a sense of surrealism. This is the perfect example of "styling" rides rather than theming them. Not everything has to make sense.

Completely agree. Ofcourse I understand that most parks use a more obvious theming vision because they try to reach a young target audience. Theme parks are mostly trying to communicate to families. But I would absolutely support more parks to also try to do something more creative/original.

I definitely agree with the festival aura. We visited WH during their fright night event, which is split between scare zones and EDM stages. The atmosphere was absolutely stellar, and it felt easier to enjoy the park when each area or ride isn't screaming for your undivided attention whenever you're nearby.

I think what they did with Untamed is very fab. I hope to see something similar for YoY even tho it would be good to brand it somehow different. But untamed theming is something new and unique far from the usual disney or other movie branding. Festivals are a good vibe to bring to a theme park and way better than these ‘exotic’ themes from Walibi. These seem pretty wrong. 😑

Official POV is out

That looks great! I never got really enthusiastic about this ride, even though I am Dutch, but these rides look really fun!

Interestingly, both sides seem equally thrilling to me. The main difference are the inversions, which are not necessarily more intense. Both rides have the same speed and quick changes in directions. I am more air-time oriented myself, but it also feels more thrilling to me. It's great fun and somewhat unnerving to feel like you get launched out of the train 😅 I might be wrong though. It is difficult to guess the intensity from a video.

Fun rides, but perhaps not the family coaster the park needs. I would love to see an Intamin or Vekoma family coaster, like Juvelen or Big Bear Mountain. Good fast family fun, but not too intense. This blue side seems pretty intense already for a family coaster
