Unusually extreme rides???

Many years ago, before they moved Traumatizer 5 miles down the road to pass it off as a new ride at BPB i was visiting southport pleasureland for the umpteenth time one season and decided to go on Traumatizer yet again. Despite having been on it dozens of times previously and gotten use to its only mildly intense thrills i was shocked to go on it this particular afternoon only to descover it was running way faster than usual and..and the forces seemed so crushing i felt like i was going to blackout?!!!!! Maybe it was the weather? The train they were running? Who knows, But whatever it was ive never experienced anything simular on that ride again or any other for that matter. I was wondering is this a phenomenon anyone else has experienced, an odd day when a ride you were used to was running an unusually intense ride????

Something that didn't look as insane as it was, was definitely Shockwave at Wonderland. You don't realize how intense it is until you're actually on it.

As for coasters, I can't really say anything has been more intense one day than another. They've all seemed pretty consistent, although there have been times on Millennium Force where I've almost greyed out, and other times when I haven't.

I blacked out on the rat at Lightwater Valley once before, might have been something to do with it being in an enclosed building? Not sure...

As zcl said, Skull Mountain's airtime going down the first drop in the back seat was definitely quite a shocker. It had stronger airtime than half the coasters in the park :p .

Last day of the season at Camelot last year, Knightmare was just off it's head. There were no trims on or anything and despite having rode it about 100 times, it was ridiculously forceful - more so than ever before. Actually really dangerous and not enjoyable.

Depending on how tired I am, rides can seem more forceful to me. The woodie at Wild Waves is not anything special, but by the end of the day when I was really tired, I started getting dots in my vision at the bottom of the first drop and it felt more intense, same with Expedition Everest.

that's the sad part..only El Toro definitively beats it.

^ Well, I liked Nitro, too.

But yah, compared to everything else in the park, the airtime is stronger :p .

I would just like to mention that this happened after riding Nitro last Thursday. lol

When riding Nemesis Inferno this year I felt like I was about to black out on the helix and I was really dizzy after each ride when exiting the ride. It didn't have the same effect on me the last 2 times I visited though.

Maybe it was due to riding it at the start of the season and it feels more extreme on the body when you have experienced a coaster for a few months.

Nemesis never fails to make my head spin when in the brake run. Also going into Rita's second helix tends to make my vision abit blurry sometimes.

Infusion felt much more forcefull than when I rode it at Southport, but then again that was a while ago.

When I went on Nemesis in August my head was spinning and I needed a break, even though I'd already been on it a few time before that day. It did it again at Scarefest, but the conditions and night can account for it.

Air was the same at Scarefest, the normally tame ride was shockingly fast and violent.

Conflictingly, the Blackpool Wild Mouse, supposedly the wildest wild mouse ride, was rather tame I felt, unless my expectations were too high. It was still violent and wild, but no where near as bad as it's cracked up to be. Unless everyone here is weak and fragile :p

Sounds insane!! Bearing in mind Knightmare noramlly pulls 5gs everytime, for it to be more forcefull than usual, it must have been mental!

This sounds pretty simular to my own experience in that it felt dangerously extreme just that one time.

Dragon Khan at midnight always gets me, specifically the part exiting the loop and entering the dive loop for some strange reason, however, I never get close to blackouts on the most insane element of the coaster, the Zero-G Roll. Maybe it's the pullout force at the bottom of the vertical loop; I don't know but I always see a tunnel of light fading in and away :?

For unusual extreme rides; I never find Fabbri Boosters to be "intense", but I went on one alone today (I've never been alone on this), and two adults were on the opposite side behind me. As it rose up to the highest point I was forced onto my back due to the difference in balance, and it kept me at the top angled about 40 degrees facing the sky, which felt bizarre and frightening. As the ride was going round, I was inverting backwards insanely forcefully and manuevured this more than twice a complete rotation  I came off shaken up due to how intense it actually was on that ride.

Ive been on a fabbri booster just the once a few years ago, but since those recent fatalities on them (ones which still havent been explained may i add) i really dont have the guts to go one anymore!!! The thought of the OSR opening at the top is enough to scare the hell out of anybody.

There is one in Platt fields park manchester right now and i think ''christ hope those people opperating it know what there doing.''
