Bolded rides are ones that I just rode for the first time. It'll be interesting to see how the second US Live plays out.
 
I haven't really sat down and thought about it too much (I'll post an official top twenty/thirty tomorrow or something), but I think Phoenix, Fahrenheit, Storm Runner, Afterburn, Great Bear, Griffon, Alpie, Apollo, and I305 all made it in there somewhere.
 
^Thunderhead doesn't make it? I think it's a fantastic woodie... isn't it at least on par with those rides?
 
Surprisingly.. it didn't really deliver like I thought it would. It wasn't nearly as disappointing as 305, but didn't live up to the hype by a long shot.

Haven't had time to do my Top 30 yet.. but the only ones to be added/moved in the trip are:

Phoenix (moved up)
Storm Runner (moved up)
Fahrenheit (moved up)
Intimidator 305 (barely in Top 30.. maybe)
Afterburn (between 10-20)
Thunderhead (between 20-30)
Mystery Mine (between 20-30)
Alpengeist (moved down)

The rest were too poor.

Thunderhead was fun, but nothing special. It probably did make it in between my top 20-30, but it wasn't as good as say, Even Knievel or something. Wasn't as bad as Rumbler though :lol:

I loved Volcano! Great launch and the feelings in the heartlines were epic. Best ride at KD. ;)
 
Flight of Fear is the best ride at Kings Dominion :p .

I still can't sort out a top 20.. Ugh. I dunno how you folks with huge coaster counts do it.

It's easy. Boulder Dash takes up your top ten places, then it doesn't matter where the rest go because they'll never come close...

There's Boulder Dash & then there's everything else trailing well behind.
 
^ That's a solid top ten, Bwaddd.

So, after getting 69 (hawhaw) new credz so far this season, I've redone my top coasters. I decided to base it on which ride was more fun to me, and which one I would rather reride instead of how well the coaster fits the model of what a good coaster should be. That's why some things rose and fell so drastically. I also realized how much more I like wooden coasters than steel ones :lol: .
