A pilot for a new ITV2 sitcom called Rides was filmed at Pleasurewood Hills, Suffolk, UK, at the end of June.

It's written by Steven and Andrew Dawson (brothers), who have written for That Mitchell and Webb Look, Total Wipeout, The Jonathan Ross Show, Take Me Out, Skins, Derren Brown's Trick or Treat and The Friday Night Project.

The stars of the show are stand-up comedians Nadia Kamil and Chris Kendall who play characters called Angela and Kendall.

Not much else is known at the moment but if it gets commissioned, I'd love it to take the piss out of irritating theme park guests ;)

How does writing even work for total wipeout?

But rides, and crabstickz does sound fun.

Hate to break it to you, but Richard Hammond has a script - that sparkling banter doesn't come naturally to him, I'm afraid.

^ Ha. Bang on! ;)

This is great. Hopefully it really projects them to more people across the UK. It's a big year for PWH and this is only a good thing!
