What's new

THE WORLD CUP!!!

Don't worry, another 2 years till the media frenzy instills the mentality that England will win something when the team cannot play together as a team and are generally crap...

My mate asked me if I saw the England goal.

Unfortunately I missed it. I was too busy refereeing the match.

If Capello gets sacked and Redknapp is hired then the FA fail at pressure and need to grow some ****ing balls.

A classic example how short-lived footballism really is.

A few years ago, he was your hero!

Obviously I'm happy that the England Football Team are out.

^Such is a fickle nature of the football fan...

Especially in regards to the internationals...

I'm really getting pissed off at the coverage it's getting this morning on BBC as well... England lost, big ****ing deal, the national team is **** and has been for years... Get over it... In a few weeks when the football season begins this will all be forgotten...

No not that I dislike Redknapp as a manager, I'd think he'd do well as England boss. But I'm sure he wouldn't give up Spurs, especially with Champions League football.
I just thinking sacking him after one competition is a daft thing to do! Look at Sven Goran Erikson we had 2 World Cups and 1 Euro Championships with him and didn't get a sniff past the Quarter Final.

Give Capello a shot at getting us to Euro 2012. Or if he does get sacked hire Hodgson.

Harry could do both jobs, England do not need a full time manager.

But I do think he would be perfect for the job. I also feel the English team need to be managed by someone from England. Harry knows the players and knows how to get the most out of a team.

Most the current team need to be dropped now, not due to the fact they were not good but half of them will be to old for the next World Cup so there is just no point sticking with them. The problem is where are the next crop of players going to come from?

I think Capello should keep the job. He is clearly a quality manager who knows what he is doing. Just look at everything he's won!

The England team always underperforms no matter who is the manager. I feel the big name players in the squad are too big for their boots, and Capello needs to start afresh with a younger squad. Then maybe we'll have a chance in 2014. ¬_¬

I lol'd after I figured it out

I'm just epic.

Right, will sum up points as I cba to argue/actually go into points deeply:

- I said as soon as we were put against Germany, we were never going to win. I predicted 1-0 to Germany, but 4-1 was just awful.

- Goal line technology = needed.

- Capello to stay. We have a habit of kicking managers when we do badly in a game. Capello is great, the World Cup just hasn't been for some of the bigger teams this year.

- IF the "goal" was counted, we still would have lost. germany were too good.

Enjoy your disagreements, I'm out...

Gah!!

I'm so sad now that Japan is out of the WC ;( I really wished that they would have gone through to the next round at least, well better luck next time...
