The Games we play...

Sorry then I did not see that Furie, sorry Ollie.

Problem was PS2 games did not work well on the PS3, the sound was all strange and graphics had many problems as well.

Um. It's a game?

I hardly swear off the top of my head and overuse the "<img>" censor in an online rant if I'm leading on the lap 56/58 in a race and my engine blows up.....
Haha I did say I knew it was only a game. I get frustrated easily though. :p
And I put extra censored words in it otherwise it wouldn't seem like I was ranting enough and people wouldn't read it. :p
But yeah it was annoying me as I was getting nowhere but I was always hoping I'd do better in the next match which I didn't.

I did pretty well today though. :)

The ending <3!
...Was almost exactly the same as MW1.
I did really well online today though which made a nice change. :)

You are criticizing a sequel to a game for having a similar ending, when the game you rave about the most is a complete rehash of its predecessor, and that in itself was a complete rehash of about five Hollywood adventure movies (seven if you count all three Indy films :p).

Bad form, Ollie. :p

Yay Zombi....Wait what?

Woo Got Left 4 Dead 2 too, "Insert Zelda Obtaining music here".

I love this post :)

^I've got better now somehow. Must of been something I did with one of my custom characters. Now got more total kills than deaths which is good considering a couple of days ago I had over 100 more deaths than kills.

I've been playing Some bollocks game on the PS3 where you have to shoot zombies and a cash register sound goes off every so often.

It's a fairly decent game. We've LOLd a fair few times and has created a bit of healthy competition between us.

However, once the controller has left my hands, I'm in no rush to play it again. Computer games are no longer a big part of my life. I'll play them now and then for a social laugh, but for serious entertainment, nah. Give me chatting, focus points and personal interaction any day of the week.

I'd give this bollocks game a sound 4/10. It's been fun for a while, but I don't give a **** if I ever play it again.

:D

Critter Crunch was completely different to how I was expecting it to be. Love the visuals though and the style it's done in is great. Just don't think I'd be worth getting the whole game as the demo is enough for me.

My roommates and I have been playing one of the underrated old games. James Bond: Agent Under Fire on the PS2. On its own, the game isn't great, but when you combine the jetpack, low gravity, no fall damage, and the grapple, you have amazement. It ended up with the two of us flying around the map like Spiderman trying to get each other out of the sky with the rocket launcher. The first to 10 kills game lasted about 30 or 40 minutes and we were both pretty breathless afterward. It was amazing...

I'm trying to do that DivX thing Furie mentioned in another topic to get a free movie for your PS3 but it's annoying me. I've had to install an update and sign up for it. After all that It's asked me to download a video file to play on the PS3 but my Memory stick to transfer it across is too small. And now after all that it tells me I can't do it because I don't live in the USA. What a load of f*cking ****.

In other news I've got 100% of the trophies on Noby Noby Boy. I still haven't a clue what the **** this game (if you can call it that) is about. Also some of the trophies would be nigh impossible to do if you didn't look up guides how to do it. One of them was to get EXACTLY 756m of unreported length and report it to girl. If you were one metre either way you don't get it. But because it's hidden you don't know what you have to do for it so God knows how people are meant to get it without checking.

lol

"One of them was to get EXACTLY 756m of unreported length and report it to girl."

I bet girl was pretty taken back at you reporting your 756m of length.

Finally got the last trophy on Flower. That one where you have to journey to the city without getting hit by the electricity pylons was a MASSIVE pain in the ass. I kept trying to follow guides on the internet that told you to stay up high but then the wind kept pushing me down. Also quite a few times I did it but got hit by the last pylon falling from the air.
So glad I've done it now though as I never have to play it again. :D

Today I rented Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. I'm at home for a few days with my parents, so I figured I'd try one of these party type games. While it's not a place I'd go for my single player gaming needs, it was enjoyable enough for a few hours of playing. The games were interesting and the control schemes were decently simple, although my parents had trouble getting the hang of a few of them. We'll probably play it some more tomorrow... as a group party type game for casual gamers, it's a lot of fun.

Got the demo for Mushroom Wars.
It's actually REALLY good. Shame I don't have the money to splash out for the full version but if I get some PSN gift cards for Christmas then I'll get it. Really simple to play and pretty addicting gameplay.
The graphics are pretty crisp and nice to look at as well. :)

Also the films on the Playstation Store are great. So much choice and well priced as well. Not sure how long the rentals last though. Great as well that you can basically start watching the film really soon after you've clicked the download button as it downloads as it plays what it's already done.

Also is anyone interested in doing the game sharing thing on the PSN?

^Game sharing is now officially banned in accordance to the recently updated T&C's.

I too downloaded Mushroom Wars demo last night and thought it was just okay. It gets a little boring afterwhile, it's no Fat Princess put it that way.

The movie service is a welcome addition and I'll no doubt use it from time to time, but some prices are little silly. £4.49 for a recently released HD movie rental is probably a £1 too much. Not to mention the sound is stereo?!
