Small News From The Theme Park Industry

Is that a new variety of Zamperla enterprise-style ride to replace or complement the Endeavour? Or is it something different?

I think it is more of a modern take on a Huss Swing Around with a little bit of Flying Scooters/Mack Matterhorn motion mixed in. That is at least my takeaway, especially with their "up to date ride experience that reminds of old fashion classics" sentence.

Apparently it was Sally's not Triotech for Funtown Splashtown.
Looks like a nice theme, the "witch" is cool!

After may complaints, Lisberg will again sell tickets at their entrances. Since the pandemic, Liseberg has been pre booking only (except for pass holders). Some days there would be plenty of tickets left while others it would completely sell out. On a study visit to Liseberg earlier this year I was given a long presentation by management on how brilliant this prebooking system is. It fully allows the park to plan out staffing and consumption, ensuring the park is always optimally staffed and stocked, while offering a better guest experience.

Sadly many guests got upset with the new system. This has according to Liseberg decreased spontaneous vists from locals. Considering that Liseberg is a city center park, many of their guests are locals who come for a couple of rides or just to stroll around in the ambiance. Loosing some of this crowd is not good for Liseberg. Therefore they will for the 2022 Christmas season offer between 3000 and 8000 tickets daily for sale at the entrances. This will hopefully be enough to satisfy spontaneous visitors.

Magnus Colossus, the infamous RCCA wooden coaster at Terra Mitica that's sat SBNO since 2016, may soon be gone for good. The Benidorm resort is looking to expand its "Grand Luxor" village area with more camping and apartment accommodations, and the land the coaster sits on has been marked as a potential expansion site.

Gardaland is a park that tends to receive the best quality investments given that it's their most visited Resort Theme Park. Sony Pictures will want a high quality attraction that is entertaining and lasts for a good while. Jumanji is also the right IP for this kind of walk through experience.
