Small News From The Theme Park Industry

Oh joy, what else should we expect from Six Flags Staffordshire

I fear what was meant to be a temporary stop-gap for COVID will now become a permanent fixture.

There are major projects lined up for the next 3 years;

- Duel Retheme (2023)
- Nemesis (2024)
- Project Horizon (2025)

And nowhere really in that timeline would I expect them to add in flat rides too...

Looks like they won't be flying off anytime soon.

Wait, so Exodus isn't going to Thorpe anymore?

EDIT: SON OF A BITCH I read Horizon as Exodus.

Its a bit naff that the mop fair is still being used to inflate capacity. But given the amount of investment that's actually going into the park, I can't get too mad if the permanent flat rides have to wait.

Not sure if this’ll deserve its own thread or not yet, but an ”Avatar Experience” is coming to Disneyland, with details coming ”soon”.
How much do we want to bet that this will just be flight of passage with a redressed show building?
