I fear what was meant to be a temporary stop-gap for COVID will now become a permanent fixture.
There are major projects lined up for the next 3 years;
- Duel Retheme (2023)
- Nemesis (2024)
- Project Horizon (2025)
And nowhere really in that timeline would I expect them to add in flat rides too...
Looks like they won't be flying off anytime soon.

I trully hope that they have relised the desire and need for flat rides and are putting in some long term plans for them to be installed but much like @Joelpagett I fear this is not the case.

Not sure if this’ll deserve its own thread or not yet, but an ”Avatar Experience” is coming to Disneyland, with details coming ”soon”. Was just announced at Disney’s Q1 earnings call.

Its a bit naff that the mop fair is still being used to inflate capacity. But given the amount of investment that's actually going into the park, I can't get too mad if the permanent flat rides have to wait.
How much do we want to bet that this will just be flight of passage with a redressed show building?

That has been missing for a while IIRC. Page got taken down in 2021 I believe. Chatter is it's a 2024 reopening.

Over the past few days, Mind Eraser was removed from Six Flag's America's website... ...Harley Quinn was confirmed dead at SFFT... ...Then the Parachutes at SFGAdv... ...Then Xcalibur at SFSTL... And now a big list of rides have been confirmed to have been removed from their park's...
