What I'm seeing is several park improvements and something could to the kids section ? Supposed to be hearing about this news anytime this week
- Six Flags Over Texas – The world’s first log flume now becomes one of the world’s longest log flumes in 2024. The new El Rio Lento will feature one new lift hill and two big drops including a giant, steep nosedive to add to the fun. It’s a family fun ride for thrill seekers of all ages!
I would suspect Intamin maybe especially with the seemingly open door of opportunity for the two companies to work together again with SFOG's Ultra Surf Coaster.I wonder who is doing the work on this?

Now before everyone looses their heads over this, first and foremost, the decision was made by the Engineer's recommendations and NOT because of money. In fact, the money that was dedicated to this project will stay at SFOT and will be used to help renew both flumes and another major upgrade in that park that will benefit guests for years to come. Unfortunately, we didn't get this, but the original flume will still be the original and after the updates to it, we will be able to enjoy for many more years.
