Scariest moments

I second all the Skyrush comments. I wouldn't say it was scarier than my first ride on Dragster, but sitting in the winged seats I just could not put my hands up for at least the first couple of rides. You really feel like you're going to be flung out!

X2's lift, drop, and first raven turn. If you disagree that it's the most terrifying ride ever, you obviously haven't ridden it.

From Ohio, done TTD and MF many times. As far as sheer horror, X2 s--ts all over them.

Even if you have the rotations memorized before you ride it, you will never come closer to believing you are going to die. Hahaha. I knew exactly what was coming and never get scared on rides, but the cars rotated for the faceplant vertical drop and I held on for dear life.

Millennium Force a couple of years back.
We were shooting up the lift hill as always when near the very top (close to 300 feet remember) there was a horrible jerk, the train felt like it almost stopped and then we preceded over the top slowly.

For a second I had no idea what was happening and then though "oh **** we're gunna roll down the hill"
My friends were on their first time and though that was just the ride....

Skyrush is lush, in an "**** you get outta my seat" kinda way.

Pretty much ALWAYS standing up on phoenix made it to my number 2, and being more glass smooth than most woodies.

Leap the Dips in the back seat is scaring in the "How the **** is this still going" way. Such a gem though <3

Skyrush was actually kind of scary the first time because I didn't expect such force on the twists.
The danger feeling is fun but I actually thought I was going to be thrown out of the train.

I was on MF like 5 years ago with me and my family...my dad (who is afraid of heights...but i convinced to ride) was beside me and my mother and sister were in the car behind us..mind you that I was in the front of the train. We get to the top..just over the crest of the lift and suddenly it just stops. There was a jerk and we moved backwards I would say about a foot then it stopped completely. It was a windy day and I could feel the lift hill swaying side to side. We were stuck for about a minute and then the lift rebooted and we were thankfully on our way! Scared the crap outa me...my dad hasn't ridden a coaster since then :p

As a kid we went to Knoebels and rode the Phoenix. I was legitimately flying out of the car, at least it felt like.
Holding on to the bar for my life, and didn't really enjoy that honest feeling of death.
I'll have to try again now that I'm bigger.

Got my top 3 for you guys.

#1: Skyrush. I rode in the second row in the left wing seat. Had my hands up going down the first drop, leaned into the first right hander like I usually do with twisty coasters and then jammed my hands into the harness as I went over the second hill with my ass hanging completely out of the seat due to how many neg. G's there were.

#2: Phoenix. The sheer amount of airtime in the back row almost made me jump the seat divider 4 separate times. If my dad wasn't sitting next to me I might as well of have done it. (Personally I was laughing so hard from how much fun it was).

#3: Rolling Thunder. Rode front row with my cousin on an otherwise empty train a few weeks ago. We stalled out at the top of the lift hill due to the lack of weight (we were literally humping the lapbar to get the train to go over) and then the train proceeded to barely skim over every hill all the way around the track. It wasn't all bad because on some of the bunny hills the lead car was skipping so high the upstops started doing their job.

First ride on Coaster at Playland PNE, I was expecting some airtime and a seat belt and got standing airtime so strong it was painful almost everywhere I literally thought I was going to die on the two bunny hops and the drop out of the MCBR.

I wanna add first ride on Oblivion, drop towers and I cried in the station for the Ultimate years ago not sure if it was out of fear for the ride or comeing back to the station in 1 peice.

Also horror mazes can **** off.

1. Crazy airtime on Phoenix
2. When walking through BGW, the Chicken Dance started blaring right behind me. I took off sprinting as fast as I could.

Yeah I don't know why the hell BGW incorporated the chicken dance into their playlist. Their shows have fallen off the face of the earth in a year and their musical tastes went away just as fast.

Agreed.

We got stuck for half an hour half way up Saw`s vertical lift hill the other week. Although I knew the ride was perfectly safe, unlike the row behind who I think thought the ride was going to fall into a black hole.
The fact that I always find Eurofighters lift hills very uncomfortable and hard to breath on was a worry. It weren't all that bad in the end but its not something I would like to be stuck on again.

The rides themselves don't really bother me anymore. I was slightly bothered by the height of Windseeker at Cedar Point, even after repeatedly riding Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster. However, the scariest moment I've ever had came on Raging Bull at Great America. Depending on how I sit in the seat, the lapbar may lock at a slightly different level. Apparently it's on a ratchet mechanism inside. When I pulled it down, I thought it locked all the way. When we went over the first airtime hill, I felt the bar move slightly to the next tooth on the ratchet. I know I was probably in no danger, but at the time, it scared the hell out of me.

1. Going on Hurakan Condor a Port Aventura (so high!). Still scares me to this day like other tall drop towers.

2. First hyper coaster Goliath at SFMM. Not only was I scared about the height but because there was room between me and the restraint when we went over the drop I lifted out of my seat and I felt like I was going to fall out. I hated that feeling then but I love it now.

3. The indoor ection on thirteens queue where the metal chamber is where the electric lightning goes off. Gave a such a shock when it first went off.

X2's lift hill. There's nothing like a 200 ft. climb... backwards.

First time on Tonnerre de Zeus @ Parc Astérix. I was like 8 and the first drop looked soooo steep to me ! Plus it ended in a tunnel. There is also a bump in the middle of the layout that I still remember...

(A little off-topic, but it's also my first airtime experience, and what an experience !)
