God this is a tough one, I wasn't impressed by both coasters but I'd probably give it to Mumbo Jumbo as I enjoyed some of the elements a bit more than I enjoyed on Saw.

Also Saw was way over hyped and the indoor theming was a complete joke.

On principle? :p

Absolutely. I actually quite enjoyed Saw, but please don't tell anyone,. or post it on an enthusiast site ;)

There is only one Eurofighter that does not hurt me and that is Flunch, but it only inverts once if I remember so thats probably why. But its also not as intense as the other Eurofighters, Speed and Rage I get off with my head spinning.

Rage is more intense than Saw and Flunch, it does a lot in its tight layout. I dont like it though tbh, I dont know why it makes my head spin as larger coasters dont. But for me and a lot of others just find it more intense than Saw, does not mean its better though.

You have already said you have not been on Saw yet, if I remember right?.

Edit: Found the post.

I haven't been on either yet, so I my opinion kinda counts.

I'd guess that Saw would be the better coaster, for the main reason that it is more of a coaster than Mumbo, which is more of a thrill ride with a track.

Mumbo just reminds me of a Wild Mouse on viagra

Yes, you're right, I haven't been on Saw yet :?

Rage to me, is a nice tame littl coaster compared to Speed, which just gives me a head for some reason.

I can now comment.

Mumbo Jumbo is better than Saw. The drop really does feel beyond vertical and the whole coaster just does more. It does things that other coasters simply do not do and the diving inline is really good and different.

So yes for me Mumbo Jumbo wins.

Having now ridden both, I hate to say Saw is slightly better. I know that Mumbo is more of a fun coaster where the twists and turns are the essentials of the ride (as well as the over trimmed drop), but Saw was better in the fact the theming is ok and the ride experience is, if a bit jolty, much better.

So, in my opinion, Saw.

I'm actually sad that people voted for that thing at Flamingoland.

Mumbo Jumbo is awful because the ride type is awful. It never had a hope of being any good.

Saw is a bad example of an okay ride type.

and is the best themed coaster in the Tussauds side of merlins.

Sorry, I know I haven't ridden Saw, but I have to say that this quote is bullcrap. From the pictures alone, I can tell that the likes of Nemesis/Forbidden Valley and maybe even Oblivion/X-Sector pound Saw into the ground theming wise, and then I'm pretty sure that I'd be backed up on that by the majority.
Saw is the best themed coaster in the UK. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Nope the Dragon coaster at Lego Land is.

Joey have you been on Mumbo Jumbo?

Honest I was shocked by it after what I had read, it really is a fun ride that does not need cheap rubbish theming to make it better.

It does not matter that the drop is trimmed on Mumbo Jumbo, the drop is still good and you feel you have gone beyond vertical unlike on Eurofighters.

I haven't ridden either one, but I've ridden Steel Hawg which is about the exact same as Mumbo Jumbo only 1º less steep. I haven't ridden a Eurofighter yet, but they look pretty good, and I'm sure they have to be better than El Loco's... So my vote goes for Saw.

I've ridden both now. They're both good rides and are fun from start to finish. But they're different in almost every way so aren't really comparable at all apart from a more than vertical drop.

Going simply on the basis of which I would rather ride again (having now ridden both) I have voted for Mumbo Jumbo.

To me they are both comparable. Both have beyond vertical drops, both have similar inversion set ups and so on. On those levels I think they are alike.

What Mumbo Jumbo lacks in theming it makes up for in much better pacing and the fun factor. My biggest issue with Saw was always the stop start pacing of the ride. Making it somewhat disjointed and so on.

The thing is, both have things that it does well and both have bits that it doesn't do so well but as I say, I would much rather ride Mumbo Jumbo. I would like to point out that I don't think MJ will age well though.

Yeah I've ridden Mumbo Jumbo. Rode it back on opening weekend. Wasn't impressed.

It wasn't as bad as I expected, though. I knew I'd not like it because it's one of those coasters that might as well be a flat ride. It's movements are slow and controlled and just feel wrong. The restraints are also horrendous. I didn't like the feel of the drop. It doesn't feel like a drop and the whole ride basically works on hang time and falling about in your seat. Falling about like you do on Colossus' inlines. It's just not... fun. It doesn't feel like you're going to fall, cuz the restraints are so intrusive, it just feels uncomfortable.
