^ Then after the MCBR there will be a drop and a dive loop am I right?

Because ever since they changed the plans I have been confused about the layout.

Anyway: Do you think it was for the better or worse (the change)

Ahhh thanks alot!

Yeah I was confused about the layout after it all got changed too1

lets hope these hills we're talking about actualy have air in them lol!

I've never known the layout and still don't apart from the 97 degree drop and second inversion :) Makes it more of a surprise when I ride it. I hope the changes were for the better, but we'll probably never know :(

Wooo 600th Post!

The new layout is a lot better.

I think the construction is coming on well and quickly. There better be a CF meet up on opening day!

Plus this topic has now reached 900 posts!

Still does a lot more than Oblivion, Speed, Rage and many other Euro-fighters out there. Consider yourself lucky :p This is Thorpe park afterall.

Quite a short layout ain't it.
*cough*Stealth*cough*

I never consider pre-ride sections before the lift as being an actual part of a ride.
That's just because we don't get many of them! This one should be great, if they get it right.

Agreed. Now that I can get my student price, it makes it easily affordable. As long as I don't have something urgent on that day, I'm there.

Woot the Uk's first dive loop! Is that correct? lol
No. It's an Immelmann.

Like a Dive Loop, but entered from the other direction. ;)

I thought the last element was a dive loop ^ :?
Sorry, I assumed he was talking about the constructed element. :p

those of you saying it's short...

to be honest, it's pretty much the same as speed, just with an added pre-stuff...

Thorpe (main section):
Drop, Inversion, Overbank, Airtime Hill, Turn into MCBR, Inversion, Brakes

Oakwood:
Drop, Airtime Hill, Overbank, Inversion, MCBR, Inversion, Helix, Brakes

The only thing we've lost is the extended helix for the sweeping turn into the MCBR... but we've gained an entire presection with another drop and inversion........

And people rave about Speed- I've never heard major criticism about it being too short....

Woop!

Guess at the order things will go up...

I assume half the Dive loop will be build backwards from the brake run and then the turn element will get built half up. That will allow them to finish the dive loop to the ground because they use the same support. Then close loggers and get the rest of turn in.

I think thats how it will go in, allowing for site access. :--D
