S&S launched coaster for Happy Valley Beijing

^Ya, but the banked turn looks like complete ****! S&S must have been high, when they designed the section!
 
^ It's ride alot better than it looks, it's just one of those transitions.

I also think that's a dodgy angle for it.
 
This is actually looking better then I'd thought it would do. It seems pretty noisy, are most of the other S&S Coasters noisy?
 
^ I guess it's just us that are used to dead silent Intaminss and B&M's :)

Looks and sounds great, I'm still a little concerned on how that last hill will ride...
 
I am too, it looks like somebody (who is terrible) has made something on No Limits and made a video saying 'My First Coaster' on Youtube. I'm sure you know what I mean lol...
 
I'd say it looks pretty cool, but for one thing...

Um, how does it launch into a hill that climbs back towards the launch?

If any of the transitions are dodgy, I'd say that's the one. (Shame that it can't be seen in that video.)
 
^ There's some pictures of it on page two. It looks ok imo, but I'm sure there will be some heavy g's in that climb/turn around!
 
Wouldn't it feel the same as PMBOs first drop, but in reverse? It's unconventional, but if we can already do a similar element going from slow to fast, top to bottom then it follows that fast to slow, bottom to top would have its Gs calculated the same way.
 
The english name has changed from 'Speed Car' to 'Extreme Rusher'.

This is crazy... A new ride gets built and it actually looks FAST to start with, not terrible and slow? I'm in love <3
 
Does anyone know if the speed it launches to is confirmed? RCDB writes 83 mph, but they do also claim that the ride has two across seating so I don't know if you can trust them..

From those videos you can tell that not only does the track look sexy but the trains are gorgeous too!!
 
In the first video, it sounds like a bomb goes off when the train reaches the end of the launch. It also looks like a large burst of air is released to the left of the launch when the train reaches that spot as well. Also, from the first video's angle, it looks like that turn is going to produce some wicked airtime.
 
That very last hill looks so messed up, I want a ride! :p

I think it's looking really good now. That launch looks pretty amazing!
 
What?!? It's NOT named "Roller coaster", "Fast coaster" or "Launched coaster?"

This is SO un-Chinese. They actually gave it a name with next to no relative tackiness!
