What's new

Room 101

I don't like it when Facebook changes again, then again, and again, oh and then again just for fun. I think YouTube's recent changes are quite nice...more user friendly, but in general I agree, change isn't great...

Oh yeah, and again...

I must be in the minority of people who actually like my colleagues. Although I have only been there since October...

I'll put the guests of The Jeremy Kyle Show into Room 101, but only after they've recorded a show. Jeremy Kyle is such good trash TV and these people really are scum, but I'd prefer it if after the show the 'aftercare' them exterminated them instead of sending them back out into civilisation again.

But Ciall, who would you then stop and have a chat with on the streets about their life situations? Surely you need people like this to interact with to show us all what a good person you are? Thought you were compassionate to people less privileged than you?

I despise half workers, which are co-workers who do little work but make out they do everything! A fellow colleague leaves me and the other receptionists more work, she does little work and spends most her day looking at the Daily Mail website (which is common knowledge to all staff). Rather frustrating!

Along with Gavin with the checkout thing it's the same with people on the buses, especially women, they'll dump their bag on the side then spend an eternity looking for their purse. Then find they have no change, get off and cause the bus to be late. Aaargh!

There's a difference between people who are made homeless by a variety of circumstances (and yes, a lot of those homeless and homeless for their own faults) and those who are deliberately leaching off the government, choosing not to work, breeding like rabbits and not watching to change that.

^Oh yeah, those suck.

Can I put 'not having a penis so not being able to pee anywhere I damn please without the possibility of peeing on myself' please ;] Pfft, don't know how lucky you have it, waterless urinals *grumblegrumble*

Yeah this, it is bad enough that there was 6 of us running our department at work and now there's only 3 of us, and I'm the only one whose flexible and does not have family commitments, so I get all the garbage shifts, mostly late shifts working on my own from start to finish, but that's okay I don't mind that, I prefer to work on my own.
The problem is, whomever was on before me, will openly do F-all, leaving me with a mountain of work to do when I walk in because as far as they're concerned its not their problem because they're not on the late shift, and they know I will get it done.
If there's a situation that involves me doing the early, I will do as much as I can to benefit the next person, even then they will still let it go to pot, I tried speaking to my manager about it numerous times, but nothing ever gets done.
Apart from work, or more importantly the people at work, others would include,

- Spitting
- Littering
- Ill behavior in public
- Millipedes
- Young mothers on Facebook having their job title as yummy mummy
- People who name themselves"Nick Dave's Mummy Ingram" on their Facebook
- Facebook
- Luton Town FC
- Katie Price
- People having no clue of their surroundings
- Norfolk Style, Gangnam Style spin off
- Wednesday (don't ask)
- HMV (Oh wait?)
- Knifes and forks when they're scrapped on plates.
- Madden 13 achievements list
- Loitering
- Hollyoaks
- Zoos not accepting domestic pets ;)

So yeah, not much, I'm generally a happy person. :?

People who are unable to successfully use Marmite without dripping it down the side of the jar.

I don't understand your problem Jordan? At least you have a decent choice of places to hide a stash when you're smuggling drugs ;)

I want to put in "people who don't have a **** clue about driving in the snow" please. 50 minutes to go 3/4 of a mile on Friday.

It's like "OMG, white stuff!!! I must immediately forget all of the rules of the road and just do **** that would normal get me locked up!"

Woman behind me in some crappy little car (a Ka or something) hadn't bothered to clean any bit of the car. She had about a 2 foot bit of clearance on the front windscreen where the wipers had managed to move the snow before giving up and that was it. Lights covered (and not on anyway, because blizzard conditions don't need lights  ). She couldn't see out of any windows side or rear and proceeded to use heavy acceleration in the snow in first gear and wonders why the car is skidding all over the place.

She's got no idea that she's sliding towards other people because she can't see. Just **** wits, seriously. It's no wonder the country grinds to a halt. Take care and drive carefully, yes - things will slow down a little, but there's no excuse for idiocy. A red light in the snow means the same thing as a red light in sunshine - just because the traffic is slow "and the junction was blocked anyway! doesn't mean you ignore it and go through anyway.

Idiots, the whole bloody lot of 'em!

^yes oh my god! Literally people driving like morons, all over the road, not in any lanes to speak of, just why?

And also people driving SO slowly, not cautiously slowly but dangerously so, particularly when turning from a main road onto a side street. Urgh.

Cyclists really annoy me in this weather too. As if they actually risk going out on their bikes in these conditions?!

Not only is it risky for them, but unless us motorists want to travel at 2mph behind them, we have to over take, thus going into the middle of the road through all the untouched snow/ice etc!

Have to agree with Furie with drivers in the snow, shall put that in Room 101.

What REALLY annoys me is cycle paths in this weather. Cambridge is a cycling city, everyone cycles (although one assumes it isn't Stone Cold's favourite past time :p ) so WHY OH WHY do the snow ploughs scrape the snow off the roads and pile it over a foot deep in the bloody cycle paths!! I had a snow day Monday which was great (first for four years) but then had to walk on Tuesday due to all cycle paths being full of muddy slushy rubbish, which incidentally, had frozen SOLID. I am speaking 2 days later AND IT'S STILL THERE!!!

SCRAPE IT OUT OF THE CYCLE PATHS AS WELL!

I agree with Martyn for the fact that, if it's snowing, and the roads are covered in snow, bikes shouldn't be on them, but if the main roads are clear I don't see a problem, pavements are death traps >.<

And in answer to Jordan's rant about not having a penis, you can get SheWees or something can't you? :p

People who have loud, obnoxious conversations on the tube where I can't get away from them/tell them to shut up. I was sat in my seat, reading my book yesterday and I literally had to stop reading because I couldn't focus because of the incessant blabbering of these two girls. One was leaning over me to talk to her friend. And they just went on and on and on, talking about absolute ****. And I could't even tell them to shut up because they weren't technically doing anything wrong. AND I got off before them <//3

Welcome to the wonderful world of CF moderation :p

People who drive way to close to you. This absolutely infuriates me!

However I do love to slow right down just so I can see their angry little face in my rearview mirror :D.

^Hahaha, I do that, the best is when they undertake you and give you the finger or whatever and you just smile and wave back to them <3
