I visited this May so I was too early to get Siren's Curse.
1. Steel Vengeance
An obvious pick, but for good reason. More ejector airtime than you can shake a Schilke at.
2. Millennium Force
At 10 Golden Ticket awards there were signs. Loved this thing. It's smooth, graceful and has a fantastic sense of speed even if it's not the most dynamic coaster in the world.
3. Top Thrill 2
It starts out decent, but just gets better and better, which in itself is quite novel. The final launch at 120mph and the massive 420ft tophat delivered in sheer scale. The twisted drop in the back is one of the most insane elements on any coaster I have been on, if I'm being nitpicky another airtime moment would have put the cherry on top, but it's still impressive overall.
4. Maverick
A little disappointing, but perhaps my expectations were too high. My morning ride was pretty weak, but it was riding much better later on, especially my night ride in the front. Great pacing, a nice variety of elements and that second launch is undeniably awesome. I feel like I would rate it more favourably if it wasn't for the bulky restraints.
5. Valravn
I really like dive coasters, shoot me.
6. Raptor
Old school quality invert, with strong whip on the inversions without much headbanging and the final helix offers fairly powerful force.
7. Magnum XL-200
I would never call myself an Arrow Fanboy, but I will always appreciate a ride like Magnum. Not the smoothest by any means, but it has real character and grit. The final few hills are unhinged, not the most re-ridable thing, but definitely memorable.
8. Gatekeeper
Solid B&M. It's smooth, graceful and just looks the part. Not the most thrilling coaster, but certainly has it's place.
9. Rougarou
Decent multi looper, didn't find it rough, the first half was solid, second half was a bit weird.
10. Gemini
It has it's fans, I thought it was good, but not much more. The racing aspect is fun and there is some nice pops of airtime although the turns are pretty dull.
11. Blue Streak
Decent and charming wooden coaster. Didn't feel too rough and there was even a solid pop of airtime on the second hill, nothing spectacular but I hope the park keep it running for as long as they can.
12. Iron Dragon
It's fun and engaging enough. I think the placement is it's strong suit. Wish it was a little more intense, but it's a good family coaster.
13. Cedar Creak Mine Ride
It's doesn't do too much, but it has charm.
14. Wild Mouse
It's more interesting than your standard spinning wild mouse, but I didn't experience much spinning and it was forgettable for the most part.
15. Woodstock Express
The larger Vekoma juniors such as Woodstock don't make me feel quite as embarrassed about riding a kiddie coaster.
16. Corkscrew
This was painful before it even started moving. Old Arrow trains are not tall people friendly. I'm usually okay on Revolution at Blackpool, but the trains on this were awful. I couldn't feel much below my shoulders so I couldn't tell what the forces were like, only that I wanted to get off as soon as possible.
