To add some potential fuel to the rumors of Zelda replacing the Lost Continent (as reported by Alicia Stella a few weeks back), the franchise’s lead producer Eiji Anouma was spotted alongside Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto visiting the Epic Universe construction site in hardhats. The Instagram video featuring them was apparently taken down after this was discovered.
For those who haven’t followed the rumor mill, Stella reported that the planned Zelda area would include a Mack Rides Rocking Boat themed to the franchise, but wether it’s been pushed back in favor of other Nintendo projects—such as Pokémon replacing the Simpsons Ride at USF—is currently unknown.
